Today is National Iced Tea day and National Black Cow day. I would celebrate both but I don't have any root beer. Iced tea it it!

I had sweet iced tea for morning tea and didn't even know I should have been celebrating. As far as black cows go they can be pretty too.

I can join you with some iced tea. I have ginger ale, not root beer and I'm not sure how that would taste with ice cream!
Enjoy your iced tea!

Boy do I have ice cream all over my face. I've had coke floats all my life but never heard them called Black Cow. May have to put ice cream & coke on my shopping list.

Hmmm, I missed this holiday! I keep a pitcher of decaf tea in my fridge as hubby and I both love to drink it in the hot Florida heat.

Funny, I didnt know it was called a black cow either but does it count if we've been having root beer floats after supper all this week? Its Sara's and the hubs favorite! :)

We never called root beer floats black cows; that is coke and vanilla ice cream.
Yesterday was Dad's birthday; he would have been 106. Root beer floats were his favorite drink. I think I'll ignore diabetic rules and have one his memory.

Touching and smelling herbs is a good thing - also is feeling the fabric.

Deb, that's so cool! I am heading outside barefoot and earthling myself! I love the feel of grass under my feet and THEN I'll run my hands through the dill!! Yum! So happy you mentioned this!! Everyday is a 'sensing' day for me!

Yes, Sara!! On rainy days the feel of fabric, depending on what kind is wonderful!!! :)

I missed this one before. I had now clue they were called black cows. That is so interesting. We just call them root beer floats. The last time I had one was over a year ago. I’ll have to make us one again soon. After nap I’ll take my kids outside to experience some things for our senses. I like these kind of celebrations.

Rosemary and lavender. Kneading bread and smelling it baking. Velvet....... Petting the cats. The lovely silence in the backyard this morning, until the neighbors dog started barking. The beautiful colors of sunset.
