Love the eggs! Are they made over plastic eggs? Or just crocheted and stuffed? They look so perfectly shaped.

I was at Spring Fling in Augusta KY yesterday and saw crocheted Peeps at a vendor booth. Unfortunately I blew my cash on Bybee pottery so I didn't have funds to get some.

Andrea, your eggs look cute. I have made some before and added eyes, nose, and bunny ears to make an Easter Bunny egg. How many eggs are you going to make?

Crocheted peeps would be so dang cute. I will have to try some.

Linda, that quilt is adorable and matches Grace perfectly.

Sew, today was a fun challenge sew day...
JeanP had sent me a stack of pre-cut pieces for my Dresden Plate Design... And I had a few petals left over, what to do, what to do...
TaDa! 2 cute mini Aprons.
I even stuck tiny "lace hankies" in the pockets!

I luv getting into mischief!

I know I have seen a similar idea for a ladies apron based on vertical pieces... I should dig through my stash of Apron patterns to see if I can find it.

I have made one very similar, in fact, I made 2 - one was for another farmgirl. Below is a picture of mine. I used a men's tie as the pattern and cut 7 pieces so that there would be one piece in the middle and sewed them together. Then I made a backing piece to cover the back of all of them and sewed it all the3 way around. Then I added a waistband and ties, sewed rick rack down each seam, sewed 1/4" around the bottom edge, and put lace on the two edges. And woo hoo it was done.

Linda, that turned out so cute! I love the pattern. It almost has a pleated skirt kind of look.

My oldest has his first loose tooth. It has been somewhat wiggly for about 2 months and now all of a sudden it's about to fall out. So I hurry and crocheted a tooth holder for him to put his tooth in for the tooth fairy. Now hopefully his tooth falls out this weekend!

The pocket on the back hold the tooth.
