Grace -- Sorry about your garden. It will be waiting for you when the weather turns kind again.

Grace, what a bummer!! I sure hope the weather will even out soon so that you can put your garden back and get things stable. Gardening can be tricky with unpredictable weather and we have had a lot of that this year in many states! At least your darling campers are “ open for business” for coffee and wine!! On those blustery days, maybe hot chocolate should be added to the menu . Do you have one of those little fire pits like they sell at Home Depot or Lowes? They are pretty cheap and maybe you should have one of those for the campers so you can have a warm fire?

Lord Grace---you have balls for sure---we don't dare set out peppers or tomatoes here in West Virginny until the middle of May or later -depends on if we are chilled to the bone or not. Or as my old Grandpa always said---plant corn when the oak leaves are as big as a mouses ear, LOL and garden on.

I'm so sorry you had to do that after all of your hard work. We had near 80 here in the Chicagoland area over the weekend and today 50 with a strong, brisk wind. I am hoping what I planted over the weekend will survive our windy cold snap.

Good luck getting your garden back in once Mother Nature calms down!

Bloom, where you are planted.

Mama nature gave us a tease 2 weeks ago,, and it looked like we were going to get an early Spring... Nope! Nope! and Nope!..
The general rule around here is to Not plant until the snow is off Mica Peak,, or Mothers Day.. My Bad for not sticking to the rule of green gardening thumb! lol!

On the plus side,, all the plants I dug up and brought indoors,, looking good, no wilting.. so in a few days I will pinch off dead growth to encourage new growth..
