Julie, I had not thought of asking. As an MS patient and thus I have a weakened immune system. I have not left our farm in over three weeks. I must make the same request,! Please don't pair me with a known hot spot state. Please feel free to simply tell me no and I will wait for the next time. Thanks

Ladies, I totally understand where you are coming from. But I will not and am not spending my time looking at a map to see where a "hot spot" is when I do the pairing up for this swap. There are precautions everyone can take when a package is delivered to you. I do it with each and every package I receive and believe me, living on a farm in one of our busiest seasons, I get a lot of packages. If this changes your mind about joining, we will miss you and I look forward to you joining one of my swaps in the future.

I spray packages with Lysol and even the letters etc get a spray. I'm don't have lupus or MS but I do have RA and have been known to have bronchitis and strep...so I try to be very careful.

Marilyn that is one of my precautions as well. I also leave all packages in the garage for the recommended 3 days and spray the insides of the packages when I open them. I just read that mail can be sanitized by placing in the microwave for a minute. I also use gloves when handling all packages and mail until it has been properly dealt with.

Ok, so , if you all smell a bit of an earthy odor,,, that would be me.. DH and I filled the 2 container garden beds... with sheep, goat and piggy phoo!.. I may be odorifious, but I did wash my hands! lolol!

Anyway,, I am taking a break... trying to finalize my decision on what to make for this swap..

enjoying a spot of tea and some Cadbury chocolates (that I stashed and my DH does not know about)...
But I swear,, my dog has super sonic hearings.. I try to quietly sneak into the drawer where my stash is hidden,, and there sits Ginger..."You got Chocolate'.., but I also have tiny cookies stashed so I bribe her with one... lol!

ok, back to work,,, what shall I make for my soon to be swap partner.???

Wow Julie...you are careful!
We are taking Liposomal vitamin C, Turkey Tail mushrooms, Colloidal Minerals, vitamin D3 and zinc to build our immunity. Our son just got us on the mushroom and minerals, we were already on the other.
I keep DIY hand sanitizer and Thieves in my car as well as my house.
Today I drove to the drop box near the PO to drop my cards in the new boxes. Then I went to get chicken feed. The little guy who approached my vehicle did not come too close. He probably wondered what kind of spray I had used because I had sprayed my clothing and my vehicle with thieves.haha

Marilyn, Thieves is one of my favorite antiseptic sprays. I have to be careful, my grandson has had many health problems and although he is healthy now, I will take no risk on contracting this virus and possibly passing it on to him. I will not live in fear of Corvid 19, but I will be as smart as possible to prevent it.

Grace, i have a ""canning" kitchen downstairs, that also serves as my pantry. I hide my treat stash in the oven down there. Hubby hadn't found it yet and the cat hasn't squealed. There is a reason I spend time in my craft room down there. :)

LOL!! I love all the chocolate stash hideaway ideas! I've had a few different ones over the years as my boys have grown, but I have run out of ideas lately and they keep finding my hiding places! Sooooo, thanks for the inspiration and new ideas!! :-)

I am spraying my packages with lysol as well. Like Marilyn I have RA but I still love getting packages and mail!! ( thank you sweet sweet April)
My chocolate WAS in my top drawer but Sarbear kept finding my stashes so I finally put it on a TOP SHELF in the kitchen in some old bowls! NO ONE knows but I do have to risk life and limb to climb on a chair, to the counter and reach up on the top shelf! What we don't do for our choco fixes! My dad used to hide his in his underwear and NONE of us wanted to go there, lmbo!!!!

Have a good day!

Mom and I too are chocolate addicts. It is funny, neither wants to take the last one. So, the last one may sit in the bowl for a week before it disappears and neither took it. Just ask.

Grace, this morning as I started down the lane to take the trash and get our mail...a bird got my attention. It was up high on a power Line. It's breast was so white and it's tail feathers so very long.
I don't recall ever seeing one like that before. Do you know what it was?

I could not see them. The very long tail feathers looked to be brownish grey.
