Farmsisters, I have had an autoimmune disease since 13 yrs. old. But the past couple of years it has gotten to the point and always feeling pain, discomfort, and sleepless nights. Just wondering how many of have the same disease.

Put your hair up in a bun, drink some coffee and handle it.

Joan so sorry to hear you are experiencing worsening symptoms. I have MS and deal with some of the same symptoms. I haven't slept well going on thirty years so I know what toll that one issue takes on your quality of life. I hope for you better days and peaceable nights.

I have RA, so I can commiserate with how you feel. The pain, especially, has been awful because I've failed off of all the medicines I've tried, so far...

It's sad to see others suffer. I pray you will all feel better.

Hey Joan,
Like Rachel I too have RA but I take no medications for it. I have my days when the pain can really get me down but I tend to control it effectively enough that at 60 I can still weed eat around the property, work in the garden and raise my 15 year old! It's not easy but I've always experimented with diet and natural healing. If it helps anyone I can pass on a few tips? I'm not cured by no means but I've learned how to make life more enjoyable!! I'm so sorry that people have to suffer so.

I too have RA, Psoriatic Arthritis and Fibro. Like all of you severe pain and not being able to function for a day or two or three days it can take its toll and makes me a very crabby 66 year old! I tried many meds, herbal and otherwise but nothing really helped. When I got to Oregon a year and a half ago I stared looking for Rheumatologist, I found a great one in Eugene two hours from home. Last April I started Infusion therapy every two months. It has help me so much, my pain is more manageable and not as bad. It has not taken my pain 100% away as there is of course no cure for them. But,what it has given me is a Quality of Life again and I am Happy again. Their hope is that they can keep it from advancing to a degree that I could not tolerate it and lose my quantity of life again. So, I take it day by day and am so thankful and Blessed to be able to have my treatments and my insurance pays for it all.
I appreciate everyones stories that you share as it shows us we are not alone we have support.
This is my first time seeing this thread as I was not subscribed to it, so happy I found it.

Big Hugs,

RA and hereditary degenerative type disease. I also do not take medication. I have learned to adjust my life according to what I can and cannot do. Prayers for all of you.
