I know I am posting a bit early,, but I figure,, it's going to be a very cold Winter,, and this will give us something to pass the time as we wait for Spring!

Farm Girl Jubilee... 2020
The year of the YOYO!

What can we make.. or should I say, what can't we make with a basket full of YOYOs..

1. table toppers
2. flip flop deco
3. dolls, toys
4. holiday deco
5. quilt
the list goes on and on..
Sew,, get to sewing... and if you need ideas,, just google search, 'yoyo projects" or "yoyo patterns'..(pintrest is full of them).

Just a few ideas for you.

Grace, I like this year's theme - "The Year of the Yo-Yo!" Yo-Yos I can do. Will search through my stash of fabric and see what projects come to mind.

Oh, I LOVE the yo-yo! I have made some but haven't assembled them into anything yet. I love what you have created! I was thinking of making pillow covers, or maybe a small quilt. On pinterest I saw a yo-yo Christmas tree on top of a wooden thread spool that I really like.

Keep shining!

What fun! I have a bag of Yo-Yos that I have made while on doctor visits with my Dad! Now is the time to make something out of them!

Oh, how I love this years theme Grace, YO, YO’s. So easy to make, even I can make them! I am in the process of packing for our move to Oregon in a couple months and have started packing my Craft Room. And I believe all my fabric as well, I will have to see. Like Debbie said you can make these anywhere, even while traveling cross country. Will look this weekend and see if I left any fabric out. I love all the ideas y’all are posting.
Thank you Grace this will be fun.

Big Hugs,
Debbie

Debbie, if your all packed up... just buy... or borrow afat quarter of fabric, and hit the 'dollar tree' and buy a lil sewing kit... then pre cut your circles ( I use n old CD as my templete...) then stash the stuff in a zippy bag... orbetter yet recycle a small tote bag.. YOYOs travel kit.
you'll be in Oregon before you know it and a stash of yoyos to show for it!

I think it is time I dig out my bag of Yoyo's and find a project for them. Thanks for the ideas Grace.

FYI.. if you decide to adorn your flip flops with YOYOs.. use button thread... I used regular sewing thread,,, and then on a girls camping get-together,,, the gals were finding my yoyos everywhere, !! LOL!

My Grandma made these for me years ago.

I collected frog things in high school so she had a bunch of green frog fabric. She turned it into some Christmas trees for me. I no longer collect frog things but I can't get rid of the trees!!!

It looks like she poked a hole in the yo-yo's and stuck a pencil through them and then glued some tinsel on top. They're held up by a spool of thread.

I told my grandgirlie, Soleil about our YOYO theme and she wants to make something too!
'Sew' I gave her some scrap fabric for her to cut out circles and sew up her own yoyos..
She informed me she wants to make a dolly blanket from yoyos... awwwww.....
