My Daughter April found her at a junk store a few years ago, she was pretty dirty she said. So she took her home and washed her dress and hat then gave her to me. April put the Hat on backward so I just left it that way. Kind of funny I thought. Anyway she is porcelain and has the cutest little leather shoes on. I think April said she paid two dollars for her. I have a lot of dolls but she is special.
Getting ready for Thanksgiving, going today for a few last minute things. Turkey is out and trying to thaw itself.
Wishing you all a HAPPY THANKSGIVING DAY. We will all need a nap on Friday.

Nancy Jo...I do think that the backward bonnet is adorable. It makes her look like a Royal's Baby Doll with all that puffiness behind her!
I use to have a doll collection and a few other collections before we went to Apartment Living and now there is no room for a bunch of
collections. So, all I collect now are Large (Garden Size) Angels...but I have them in my Living Room. My son wanted to get me another
one from Costco but the problem is where to put it. LOL

I hope you have a lovely Thanksgiving Nancy Jo!!!

Love, Hugs, and Joy,
Peggy

I think your doll is sweet and so is the fact that you received from your daughter.

Wishing you a very happy thanksgiving Nancy Jo!

She is beautiful. I too love dolls---but only have a few rag ones in my bedroom.

Sweet, sweet antique doll! I wonder who she belonged to and what sort of life occurred in her real home? Antiques always bring out those questions in my mind. I see them as little clues and snippets of families no longer here.

She is a beautiful doll! I love the creamy lace on her dress and soft pink floral accents. Very sweet and very special that your daughter found her for you.

Keep shining!

Every girl still needs a baby doll! Precious! I have one from my grandmother, but need to get her eyes fixed, she's a little spooky looking right now, so I keep her in her box! Lol! Sweet of your daughter to gift her to you! Love your daughter's name!
