I took everything off my one bookcase and redid it. The top three shelves which you can't see are all books. couldn't fit them in the picture. This the bottom three. The yellow tin is full of greeting cards. The suitcase is Susan Branch things, and Gladys Taber. and adult coloring sheets and books. The pretty little boxes on the suitcase are writing paper and cards.
I would put the top part in the picture but I don't know how to do two pictures at the same time. Probably something I should know how to do by now.

Looks nice Nancy Jo. I recognize some of those books as I have a few of them on my shelves.

My shelves don't look as prettied up because we have all our books contained in the library. At least we try to. I do have some others spread around because we ran out of places in that room to put more shelves.

Love the way you use the pretty boxes!

Denise,
I know what you mean. I donate all the books that I decide I can do without and keep my favorites. Hard to part with a book.

Nancy Jo,

I love how you have arranged your bookshelf. It is so much more interesting to have some horizontally stacked books as well as vertical with containers for storage, or just accents.

Keep shining!

Susan Branch is one of my favorites too. I have all her books I think. I really love her blog. I can be having a down day and read her blog and I am raring to go again. The Farm Girls surely do share a lot of the same likes don't we?

Nancy Jo,
Your book case looks great. I love Susan Branch and Gladys Taber too. But I am a lot older and have collected a lot more. It gets harder to part with them because they are all favorites.

Nancy, your re-org of the bookcase turned out great! It is not only organized, but also made to look decorative for the room. I think books and a few knick-knacks , when mixed together, make an appealing statement.

Thank you girls, you are all so nice. I guess I just love playing house. Sometimes I just change one thing and everything changes. So don't do this on a day when your energy is low.

Looks very neat Nancy. I like how you stacked the books horizontally. It gives it a different looks, but I like how it flows with your tins and decorations.
