Has anyone ever heard of Bridge Day in Fayetteville WV? It is a huge event and people come from all over the world to attend. People jump off the bridge and parachute into the New River below---base jumping I think it is called. My husband grew up around Fayetteville and we often hiked and camped in the gorge. The bridge was the largest of its kind in the world for many years---now it is second. We used to go to Bridge Day, but now we are old and tired of it.
Anyway Bridge Day is this weekend. Safe jumping to all.

Me,me, me!!! I loved going to bridge day Barbara!! Years ago... It was fun watching the jumpers as well as the repelers off the bridge it self! Such a diverse group of people! I was fortunate to get some amazing pictures of the event and scenery! Brings back great memories Barbara! Thank you for my smile this morning!
