Oh Peggy so sorry for your loss. Rest assured for a little while and then you will be together. You might not recognize her though because she will be sweet sixteen again.

Feeling the pain of your loss---my mother has been gone for twenty-two years. It gets easier with time. God will give you strength to handle it. Life does go on even with all its sorrow.

Thank you all so much, today marks one month. It just seems unreal right now, but as time passes I know it will set in that she is truly gone on to heaven. Her birthday is December 12th she will be celebrating with my Daddy and her mother and father.

Oh Peggy, I'm so sorry! It doesnt get easier just that we learn to live with it. I last mine 3 years ago and not a day goes by that I don't think of her somehow. She was my best friend. Sending you hugs and thoughtful prayers.

Peggy, so very sorry for the loss of your mom. It is very hard to lose our mothers. I say grief is like a huge ball in a box. In the beginning it hurts so much like the ball hitting the sides of the box. Every time it hits it hurts. As time goes on the ball gets smaller and doesn't hits the sides as often so though we still feel the loss grief doesn't go away but it doesn't hurt as often. Every time it hits though it still hurts. Eventually we can start to think of our loved ones without the hurt being so intense. But grief never leaves because we love. My mom has been gone for a little over 7 years and some days it still really is painful but most days I can think of the happy memories more.
