After standing in a trench up to my knees, holding down conduit as hubby is running electrical wire through,, and then pruning back all the roses and mulching them as well as my lavenders and Peony... oh, and draining all the remaining water hoses and putting them away... I sooo deserve these!
yes,,, a beer and some yummy wafer cookies... besides, tonight is soup and salad nite.. so a few cookies won't hurt!
After all, I so deserve it!

Grace---is that a beer with a straw in it? We guzzle beer out of mason jars here in WV. And after I help my husband with wood cutting and tater digging all day---I get to feed the animals and cook supper, have a two inch drought bath, go to bed at 9:00 and get up at 3:00 in the morning and pack lunch---then another day in paradise of chores and more work. You surely do indulge yourself Grace---LOL and being silly. I love holler life and have great fun and many comforts and blessings---as you do. I just always like to tease you, and I enjoy your posts---LOL---party on and have fun. I do.

Some times those little indulgences in life...make all the hard work worth it. Some times a small plate of cheese and crackers
and sliced apples with a glass of Port...just makes my evening. I don't even do this once a week but when I do indulge I want
the Best! Why indulge in mediocrity??? You Go Grace!!!

Todays indulge was to take DH and go to the Movies.. 3pm show only $6 each.. we split a large soda, some popcorn and a box of Whoopers-malted milk balls,, lol! which cost a whole lot more then the movie tickets! lol!)
What ever we choose to indulge with,, it's good to treat ourselves special now and then...
HG56,, I don't like drinking out of cans,, and I didn't want to have to wash a Pilsner glass.. so,,, a straw it is! lol!
I am goofey like that.. lolol!

Last week at the show it was $8.50 for the ticket, $21.00 for large coke and popcorn, which I didn't buy.
