I didn't see the advent calendar and asked the clerk about it and she said they will put it out with the rest of the Christmas stuff when it's time.

I keep checking... I think I will splurge and buy the advent calendar.
the Cost Plus-World Market up her doesn't have all of their Holiday items out until November ... I am waiting and counting down the days... I luv stocking up on my €uro goodies!

Grace...My Son just bought me the Cutest Downton Abbey Tea Cup with gold Crowns on it from World Market for my Birthday last Friday. With a Box of Downton Abbey
Scones to go with it. Sooooo Cute I Love the Cup and Saucer...You need to check them out! They are just charming!

AAck!! Peggy,,, I will be in town (Spokane) tomorrow,, taking the dog to the Groomers... and then bee-lining straight over to World Market!!!
Oh, and fyi,,, it snowed here today.. The sun was out till about 3,, then the skies turned dark and ominous.. then it snowed like crazy.. most likely it will melt away (I hope) by tomoroow.
Are you sure you don't want to live here??? lol!

Grace---I am so dumb! I have Prime Video and I can watch it on that and start from season one. Will watch an episode each morning when hubby leaves for work ---he won't be able to fuss at me about the crap I am recording. Can't send him fishing or hunting---he does neither. Technology is wasted on me because I am too dumb to use it---but I'm wising up. Prime Video and Downton Abby---here I come!

Grace, My kids got me those for my Birthday along with the Tea Cup. Glad you found them...I'm sure they will be yummy. I haven't made my scones yet.
Did you find the Advent Calendar? I want to get over there and see what is left at our Store...but it is clear across the City from me. Maybe this weekend!
I hope they release the Movie for Sale around Christmas Time...I would love to buy it!
Barbara...that is how I had to watch all of Downton Abbey myself...only because my husband hates all The British Shows on BBC. So, I watched them on my
computer in the mornings when he was asleep. LOL There is a way around our men if we are just sneaky enough! LOL That is why I was so shocked that he
offered to go with me the first time I saw the Movie. He might have slept through it, I'm not sure...at least he didn't snore if he did.

I still have not made the scones,, I think I will make them on Thanksgiving morning...

When Downton Abbey was on PBS the first time around my husband complained about watching it and usually disappeared off to the garage. This time I started watching it again on Prime and he sat watching every episode and really got into it. Men are strange.

Judith...you made me laugh!! Men can be so fickle. One of my Neighbors held a bake sale last Weekend and she made Meredith's Cake Recipe from The Downton Abbey Cook Book. YES,
I bought two loaves and gave one to my best friend. It is much like a Pound Cake but has a lemon flavoring with this amazing Buttery Crumble all over it. Sooooooooooo, Good! I still have
a 1/2 of loaf in the freezer. It goes fabulously with tea...in my Downton Abbey Cup and Saucer from my Birthday, I wasn't aware there was a cookbook. I will have to check Amazon for it.
