Hi everyone, 2 days ago I became a grandmother! We met Mason yesterday. Please meet Mason Alexander, 8lbs, 13 oz and 21.5" long! When Joey was born he was 8lbs, 3oz and 22" long. Joe and I reconciled months ago, and I'm so grateful for that. Many hard lessons have been learned.

Loving congrats to you and your family. What a perfect baby boy. I am so happy for you and wish you many, many happy years with Mason. I have so rarely seen a newborn baby; but we went to visit our friend who just had their first child and I was blown away by the sweetest of it---so tiny---only five and a half pounds. A baby truly is from heaven. ENJOY!!!

It feels surreal, to think I had Joey 31 years ago. Time sure flies. I just turned 50 in July. 'Grandma' sounds old LOL. Do I call myself grandma, granny, nana....how many other words are there for grandma? It sure was fun buying newborn clothes, it brings back all the wonderful memories of my own boys. Wow this is awesome! They went home from the hospital today. Now the journey begins. It feels good to cry tears of happiness! Oh and that newborn smell! I couldn't stop sniffing the top of his head yesterday LOL.

Handsome boy! Must have got it from his grandma, or granny, or nana, or oma, or abuela, or meemaw.

The cutest names for grandparents I found were "Grandma: Maimeó and Grandpa: Daideó", (Ireland)

Thanks everyone, he looks like Joey did when he was born, Joey had the same chubby cheeks, nose, eyes and hands. I love the dog, like he's guarding him.
