In our small community a Senior died at an after Prom party. According to what I have heard, he was not used to drinking and lay down - on his back. He was found unresponsive and declared dead. He was on my husband's school bus and was a good kid.
An investigation is under way, and I know those at the party feel heartbroken. Pray for the family and warn your children not only about drinking and driving but looking out for friends who have drunk too much. Getting in trouble for underage drinking is better than losing a friend.

That is so heartbreakingly sad. It is such a terrible tragedy for all involved. Praying for all.

Vanessa, this is so sad news. I can't imagine what his parents are going through. I will keep them and your township in prayer.

Oh my, how awful and heartbreaking... we are sending our prayers and healing thoughts their way. Vanessa, how kind of you to request prayers for this family and to remind us how important it is to "talk" with our children. Many hugs being sent your way.

This was truly a tragedy. Will send up prayers. So sad for such a young person to die that way. My niece got killed in a car wreck when she was twenty so I do understand the pain of losing one so young.

Vanessa... so true, what you said, "better to get in trouble for underage drinking then to lose a friend to drinking".
