With Mothers Day fast approaching, I thought a new pincushion and some decorated pins would be a great idea to work on and share. There are lots of ideas on Pinterest for both. Sign-ups will go through April 25th. Mail out will be by May 10th. I can't wait to add a new pincushion to my sewing room.

So much more than just a pin cushion and pins! I have received my very first swap item and feel so blessed to have such an abundance of support and pleasant exchange! Julie Hofmann thank you for the note of greeting and encouragement to continue my sister journey! The cushion the pins and he little packet of squares to make my very own mug rugs! I love it all! I will be showing off my treasures and drawing in my favorite friends and family to partake in the fun of being a Mary Jane Farmgirl!

Well shoot! My car is dead and I am not going to the post to send off my package on time! It will go it will be late! Darn it!I am sure we will be able to make it sometime next week! Better late then not at all? I hope so!

Thank you so much for the pincushion, 2 fat quarters, flat-headed flower pins, metal sew-on "Handmade" tags, 4 plastic fabric clips, scissors, and tiny pincushion with my initial "L" on it. I love everything you made and sent.
Sherry - in answer to your question about the China pincushion, I brought several back for quilting friends and I kept one for myself. I hadn't seen them in the US in a long time, so I had to get some. I thought they were unique.
