We have a vintage Tappan gas stove for sale - it is in Texas, and if you buy it you need to come and get it. This is a beautiful stove andwould look wonderful in a farmgirl's kitchen. It is a Tappan No. 60 Series. We are asking $350.00.

This vintage Tappan gas range is from the late 40s to early 50s. There is one large burner, 2 medium and one small burner. There are two storage spaces on either side of the oven, the broiler drawer is beneath the oven. The oven controls are in the right side compartment. There are 3 drawers in the left side compartment and burner covers are located in the utensil drawer and towel drying rods in the right compartment. These ranges were popular to use for canning.

This range came out of my husband's sister's house in Michigan and we are not sure the last time she used it. The original book is included. It contains recipes, servicing procedures, and helpful cooking hints. We did some cleaning of the outside and the enamels are in excellent condition, but the range needs a thorough cleaning. This stove would be a beauty for a retro kitchen. It is located in Terrell, TX.

This stove is a beauty!! Wish I didn't live so far away or I would seriously consider it. It sort of reminds me of the stove we had at home when I was little. I still have the little match holder in my kitchen that Mom kept on the wall beside the stove so she could light it up. I love that you still have the original stove information book too. Someone will want this for their retro kitchen!

I am hoping that a farmgirl would love this stove, Winnie. The booklet said this was a favorite stove for people who canned, something a lot of farmgiirls do today.

I grew up with electric stoves - we never had gas. I remember one of the old white porcelain stoves we had - it had 3 burners and a forth deep burner with a large pot that fit in it; the top of the pot was level with the top of the stove. It had a clock and timer (I think). And one thing it had, that I sometimes wish mine had now, is a socket.

I'd take it in a heartbeat if I could get it Linda but not possible. Hope you find someone.

I love this range! I have a 1940's gas range that I use daily. It is great for canning and I love cooking on it. You have a good price on it. I lucked out and got mine for 50.00 at the Goodwill a few years ago.

Thanks, Rachel and Grace. It is a great stove. I know there should be a farmgirl out there who would love it.
