Bonnie,
I have a little tree that I leave up after Christmas and I have white lights and little decorations hanging on it. I also have a couple of wall hangings I put up.
I don't plan events as we rarely go out on Valentines. Sometimes for dinner but that is all.

I don't have very many Valentines decorations, but this year I crocheted a heart garland to hang in my window and I'm currently painting some wood hearts to add to my small Valentines stash. I would love to make a wreath but that may need to wait until next year. We also don't plan any events. Maybe a dinner date for us, but that would be it. We don't go all out for Valentines.

What about for you Bonnie?

I have a wreath I hang on the door and a few hearts I sprinkle around the end tables and a wall hanging that I quilted a few years ago to hang. We don't go out as well, I can make a much better meal at home. I will broil a steak and sauté some shrimp and plan a special dessert. Last year it was chocolate lasagna and chocolate dipped strawberries, not sure what this years will be.

I have a little pink tree and pink lights that I just love, I have some pink ornaments. I also have vintage valentines and cards I like to add to the tree as well.
This is the time I also bring out my small collection of Heart to Hand treasures and books, simple yet fun.
I truly do love and enjoy dressing my little corner in my living room for the different holidays.
St. Paddy’s day is next my DNA shows I am 30% Irish I am so happy,

I have a corner of my house that I keep a small tree in to decorate the holidays and seasons. Right now it has red lights, vintage valentines, and ATC's.

Krista, Chocolate Lasagna is layers of pudding, cool whip, cream cheese mixes all put on an Oreo cookie crust. It is so good. If you google it, lots of recipes come up for it.

It is a fun dessert. One my family enjoys and I have switched pudding ingredients and the crust for different favors. The vanilla stuffed cookie crust and coconut cream pudding are another favorite.

I have my little Valentine tree up in our den area and enjoy the lights at night. Like Christmas, it is full of little handmade Valentines from my children, my Mom, and Farmgirl friends. It is a real memory tree of fun!

Winnie, luv your tree...
I really need to put my snow boots on and trudge out to the barn and go through my seasonal/holiday deco stuff...
So far all I have done for valentines day is display my mini aprons.. I am such a slug! Hmmm, maybe I need to celebrate "National Slug Day".. hahahaha!

I actually have no Valentine decorations except the adorable hearts by grandkids will draw for me :)

Put your hair up in a bun, drink some coffee and handle it.

I hunt down vintage greeting cards and photo copy them to use for crafting...
I have even photo copied vtg cards onto 'iron-on' copy paper to be ironed onto fabric... I just have to remove the words as I have not figured out how to 'reverse/mirror' the words/letters.

Do you just mainly find the greeting cards in thrift stores? Or where do you find them at?.

Thanks for all the posts. I love the tree Winnie. I love hearts and have a fair amount of decorations. I have a tiny pink tree with wool ornaments I made. I have towels, cookie cutters, small quilts and heart-shaped dishes for pudding. Last year a local pizza place made heart-shaped pizza. This year our son made us a salmon dinner with asparagus and holandaise sauce. Yum. Sometimes it's great to have grown kids. Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

That's such a great idea, Grace. I'll have to remember that.

I hope you all had a fantastic Valentine's Day! Many hugs to you all.
