My milk cow Evelyn had her baby the day after Christmas. Earl is doing well. . Evelyn has become a good momma. This is her third calf but her first time in caring for and raising her calf.

Lets see, i have made lots of butter, colby cheese, cheese curds, cream cheese, mozzarella and ice cream. I drink my share of it too. Of course my dog and barn cat get their bowl every milking. lol

Oh my gosh that all sounds wonderful! I can't even begin to think how much all that would cost at a grocery store. Especially when I think about how it is grass fed, pasture raised, most organic! I hope your cat & dog realize how good they've got it!

thank you. That christmas baby is about 175 pounds now. Tonight i think i will seperate him and momma over night, so i can get some milk in the morning. He has been taking almost all of it now. Then he will be with momma all day and i won't have to milk in the evening.
