Diana your quilts are beautiful.
I've set out the cloth backed plastic tablecloths for my Jubilee garden flag. Now to get busy and put it together.

Here are pictures of the quilt top and table runner I've made for the Jubilee theme. I hosted several 10" square themed swaps a few years ago, and sewed the farmgirl-themed squares from that swap (and some I added from my stash) together for the top (67" x 75" without a border). Pictured on the squares are chickens, pigs, cows, cats, aprons, kitchen tools, veggies, cherries, sewing/knitting related, farm kids, and herbs and flowers. There were several duplicate squares; I cut these into four 5" squares each to make some table runners. I still need to back and quilt the table runners and have the quilt long-arm quilted, but at least the tops are done. I am going to add a wide border on the quilt so it fits my full-size bed. I may use some chicken-wire fabric I have for the border. How much more country could that be?

Linda, I love your quilts and the Farmgirl swap of quilt squares is just adorable!! I made an afghan from 2 year's worth of dishcloth swaps and love to wrap myself up in Farmgirl love when it gets chilly down here.

Now that I am back from California (with a new cold!),, I can hunker down in my play room and waller through my fabric stash to make another quilt project for the Jubilee... hmmm, what shall I make? a Tea Cozy? a mug rug? another table topper or lap quilt? or????
I had better hurry, cuz the MJF Jubilee is only 61 days away! heeheehee!

how's the quilting coming along??
just a month away from Farmgirl Jubilee week...
I have my tea cups, assorted silver tea spoons and assorted tea. I will be inviting 2 of my elderly neighbors for tea and scones... and yes, I will be using my tumbling blogs, table topper to place my tea pot, sugar bowl and creamer on.

Grace, your quilt mat is really pretty and very spring like with the colors! Sounds like you are way ahead in getting your Jubilee plans together. We are going to be on a trip to Italy when the Jubilee weekend happens, so if I have WiFi wherever I am, I can check in to MJF and follow along all the fun.

Winnie, I have to laugh,,, every time I fly back to Germany.. I eat lake it is going to be my last meal! lol! but we do soooo much walking that (fortunately) I come came back to the US with only a pound or two added...
Irmgard and I always take long walks in the vinyards on the hillside and around the local farms pastures.. and oh how we chat,, about everything.... and now mostly about our grand kiddos...and our aches and pains..lol!
So my suggestion to you,, Enjoy, Eat and WALK a lot! lolol!

Grace, I can picture you and your Irmgard enjoying a nice walk through the german landscape. Germany is such a beautiful country! The german Apful Strudel is my favorite. I love how they make then full of apple slices and just enough sugar to make it delicious but not overly sweet.

Hey Vickie,
We have a Virtual celebration ... so any one can join in,
some of us take time out of our day to celebrate with a cup of teawhile others gather up family or friends for a get together and others organize MJF sisters in their area tor a tea of lunch or craft session.
We have this virtual celebration the first week of May because it is MaryJane's birthday.

I haven't decided what/ how I will celebrate tor the Jubilee, hopefully I will be glamping, and can invite dome of the other lady
campers for tea and scones.
Or I might have a tea party with my grand girlies.
There use to be 3 other MJF gals near me but they have all moved away. But certainly can invite my 2. Very elderly neighbor ladies for tea, both of whomlike to craft...hmmm, tea and craft day...
