I'm wondering what cookies I should bake for Christmas this year. I love to bake the slice and bake kind because they are so easy. I know the cutout cookies are a favorite for everyone during the holiday. Plus they are so yummy. I know if I bake too many cookies I can always take them to the fire department or the EMS building. They would appreciate them.

I luv the simple 'sugar spritz' cookies... easy peasy... sugar, butter flower, vanilla etc... then you put them into the extruder gun..... I sprinkle colored sugar over them and then bake.
I like using both the 'wreath and the tree shapes,

Lori, I think you can't go wrong with what to make because homemade cookies are always a hit. Lucky EMS nearby to "rescue" bountiful cookie making by neighbors!!

I find peanut butter cookies and oatmeal cookies to be the most favored at Christmas---at least in my area. You can't go wrong with them---but as Winnie said all are good and welcomed.

My favorite slice and bake cookies are cranberry orange shortbread cookies. I am making them for my neighbors this year and of course some for my family! Yummy!

Another favorite Christmas cookie for my family is Stained Glass sugar cookies. But you need to like peppermint for these.

Maple cutouts are delicious and if you have time you can make up maple cream as a filling & turn them into sandwich cookies. Have fun baking & sharing!

Y'all are making me really hungry. May have to bake something tomorrow.
