Oh Hi,
Well I think I'm recovered from Thanksgiving. About 14 here small house, but we had lots of good food and fun. the kids brought me lots of nice Birthday presents. So all is good.
Had snow, now it's rain, I think snow again tomorrow. Might put up the tree today.
Anyway just a picture of another one of my mini collections. That Baby dish in the picture was My Aunt Glenda's when she was little, she is 103 now. And doing good. Anyway Marbles.

Nancy Jo I love to see your collections and how you group them together. The embroidery picture in the background is precious. Tell your Aunt Glenda hi for me and congratulations on being 103.

Nancy---I have several old green mason jars full of old marbles that my grandparents found at the old farmhouse they moved to from this old farm. They are so beautiful to my simple mind. I lived in that new old farmhouse for twenty years and I still found marbles there until the day I moved back here to their original farm. It was such fun to find them. We always wondered where they came from and several years ago an older neighbor told me that they were his and a friend that lived there when they were boys. How did their parents buy them so many marbles and not get after them for losing them and Did I use the word old enough in this post. LOL.

Also---my friend who is 62 has that same old dish in his bathroom and it was his aunts. He uses it for a soap dish and I always thought it was lovely.

NancyJo,
I love your cute collection. I have a bunch of marbles from my dad I keep in a jar. So glad to hear your aunt Glenda is doing well!
Happy belated birthday wishes!

I Love that big jar of marbles!! When I was little, I had my own bag of marbles and the little boy next door and I played and traded marbles all the time. I wish I still had them!! Glad you had a wonderful family Thanksgiving gathering!!

I see I'M not alone in loving marbles. I haven't found any recently but always on the lookout at garage sales and the thrift store.
