Well, I got a sweet surprise yesterday from my swap angel, Betty Ann!! She sent the cutest card with a horse(I love horses), beautiful kitchen towel and thsi darling little cow zipper pull!! Check it out!!
Thank-you Betty Ann! This was such fun. You will have to excuse my thank-you note to you that I sent yesterday for this crazy mistake. For some reason, Farmgirls, the round robin listing for swaps ALWAYS seem to tangle me up! I am either confusing whose mailing address I need and who gets mine. Even with I get that right, I always forget that my swap will not be coming from the person I sent mine too. Now you would think that after all the swaps that I have done these past years, that I would be squared up on this style and have it straight in my mind!! LOL!! But, when I got my gift in the mail, I had forgotten that Betty Ann was my partner. I even emailed our good friend Debbie Fischer if she knew who Betty Ann was!! Thankfully, Debbie figured it out and sent me an email and then I looked back at the original post of partners and ........Voila! RedTRactorGirl mixed up again with the Round robin technique. So, Betty Ann, Please forgive my goofy thanks because when I wrote it, I though it was a random act of kindness from someone I didn't know!! LOL!! Of course, it didn't diminish one iota my excitement and joy at such a lovely gift!!
It just goes to show you, Farmgirls that we NEED each other in so many ways here at MJF. Thank-you Betty Ann for my sweet swap and Thank-you Debbie for getting my brain straightened out. My New Years goal for 2019?................ You guessed it: get the round robin technique clear in this Farmgirl brain!! LOL!!

Red Tractor Girl Winnie, so glad the swap got there and you liked it! Is so much fun to get things in the mail !
I am glad you like horses. I have two, both in their 30's now and out to pasture. I spent a few hours with them today up
at where I board them. They are SO shaggy, thank goodness ! It snowed yesterday so I was afraid I might have trouble getting up there, but managed ok. I sure was glad to get home and get warm when I was finished, though, because baby, it's cold outside!

Betty, we still own my daughter's Arab horse who is now 40 years old. Thankfully he lives beside my daughter and has a safe place ,with long time pals to spend his old age days!! He is such a member of our family and has been with us for the past 18 years. I am glad you were able to get up to visit your old friends too! Old horse friends are treasures that make our lives richer and deeper.

Debbie, Thank You so much for the delightful dishcloth package. The dishcloth is beautiful and all the tucks are amazing. It certainly felt like Christmas at my house today with all the fun farmgirl mail.

I received the package from Grace.
I received three bags of tea, chocolate kisses, candy cane (my favorite). I also received a recipe box with matching recipe cards. She sent me a pot holder made in Tunisian crochet with a wreath decoration which she purchased from a very talented person. The best part is the multi-colored washcloth wrapped around some dried lavender. Grace, the washcloth is perfect.

Thank you so much Marie for the dish cloth which arrived yesterday, I just love the pattern. It will make a wonderful Christmas Decoration, too pretty to use for a dishcloth. I must learn how to do a reverse single crochet stitch.Thank you too for the tea and orgami type star you made, it is on my tree.

Thank you. The cloth is a simple square which I use often. The poinsettia is part of a festive cat collar pattern. I do like to combine elements into my designs. Dishcloths are the best way to experiment with design. The card is perfect to color with markers. I wish I hadn't sent them all out.
