Yep, those are the Scottish Highland cows. We have two different neighbors that are raising them.
Loved seeing them on our Scotland trips!

Aren't they just the cutest, CJ!?

Oh yes you do Grace! It's so beautiful! I have to say that it's my favorite place and I will be going back. I wish I could move there lol! I actually keep having dreams that I'm packing to leave again. Wouldn't that be nice.

Grace, they had so many wool items available for purchase in their little shops. And if I remember correctly, Iceland was the same way. We did wander into a yarn shop and they had different colors and styles and brands that went from the floor to the ceiling. I wish I would have taken a picture. This place had so much yarn I could have been lost in there forever!

I don't like cows much---but these are so cute! I love them. They are the rock stars of the cow world for sure.

Krista,

I am soooo jealous! I would love to go to the UK and also to the Scandinavian countries. I'm reading a lot about Denmark right now. A little funny, because I discovered recently that my great-great grandfather was from Copenhagen. :)

So glad you had fun!

Amanda, you should definitely plan a trip! Exploring where your ancestors came from is wonderful. We meet with some extended family in Norway and learned where our family had grown up and even walked the land they farmed. It was such a fascinating experience. It was even nice to learn about some cultural traditions that they celebrate. That was probably my favorite part with the extended family.
