Some years back,, CeeJay hosted a unique and fun swap..
She hosted a Lite plate cover swap..
I have moved the ones I got from her,, 3 times...
with this one she saved and used the wrapper from a bar of Maryjane chocolate... it currently is in my kitchen...
and this sweet one is in my bathroom...
They are so easy to create... I think I will need to make one for my sewing room..
CeeJay,, I still cherish the special ones you made for me.

Those are the cutest switch plates ever!!! CeeJay, what a very cool idea to make!! Grace, you are so lucky to have these and it is fun to grace your home with Farmgirl ingenuity. Thanks for posting because this is a wonderful idea that I think I just might have to pursue!!

All you need is some decoupage's glue and cute paper/fabric, some trinkets like buttons, charms, lace and a little imagination.
CeeJay has a music room, so I made her a music themed one..
Oh the possibilities are endless.

Thanks for posting the pics Gracie. I've thought of those I made every time I look at the one you made for me.
By the way, you are the one who hosted the swap.
Way back when I covered all my switchplates with scrapbooking paper and clear contact paper. I wanted them to be not so utilitarian looking but I knew they needed the contact paper layer too. Anyway, I'm glad I did that. They just look better In think!

CeeJay.. I so treasure these 2 that you made for me.. and am so glad to still be able to use them here.
I like that they are easy to make and customize..
Gosh,, I could even make some with Holiday themes,, like for Christmas, Easter, etc...
