Hi Gals.... A flock of pink birds just arrived in Central Texas (/guess they saw the bird feeder out back!)

Here is the picture of my lovely flamingo straight from KRISTI’s backyard. I hope you enjoy them as much as I am.

Place mats, Card Making papers, Flamingo trivet, notebook, and an Awesome Flamingo mug. ( Might be good with an iced coffee these hot summer days)
Thanks, Kristi..Every thing is wonderful.

Thank you ever so much for the wonderful flamingo goodies!! Funny I looked ALL OVER our small town for lights to send you but couldn't find much in the way of flamingos OR bees for my other swap! Argh! Must travel 2 hours to a larger city! Hope you have an amazing rest of the summer!!! Thank you incredibly much for hosting the fun swap and for the perfect package!!

OMG! I received a fantastic package for Karla! Really you spoiled me! I didn't even know they made flamingo things like those! I thought the flamingo wave had reach us, here in Canada (and Quebec) but not at all! Maybe in a year or two... sigh. Anyways, my package is simply fabulous! I'm so grateful to you for all my wonderful gifts. Because, they were indeed all wrapped up in pink paper; even the box was thematic!
I have a nice bag (I will use it for the beach for sure!) along with the towel (so beautiful!), a cheese board, a bottle opener and a cute flamingo dangling plushie/accessory (this will go on my purse!).
Really, you spoiled me. My kids were jealous!
Wishing you the best!

Marilou I am so glad the flock made it through customs, I they had no idea they need all kinds age, rank, and serial number, plus birth cert., LOL, not really that bad.
My flamingo's arrived today, I can't post a picture because my phone and email are not getting along these days. I got a beautiful pillow cover, some bling I am putting on my phone case, a really cool patch for my jacket, a note book with a flamingo pencil with tail feathers, and a cute napkin. Thank you soooo much, I already blinged up my phone case, now for my jacket. This is such a fun swap thank you Debbie for hosting this. Happy Flamingo's Hugs Karla

Mary - I received a delightful visit on Tuesday from A Flamboyance of Flamingos (had to look that one up, how appropriate!). LOVE all of the items. The card you made is so adorable, going to pin it on my board. Socks are perfect for working out. The flamingo stamp is a great addition to my collection. The stuffy...how sweet. The spoon rest and napkins will be going to the lake house to add a pop of color, especially to our vintage table and chairs we use outside for meals when the weather is tolerable. And the fabric, OMGEEEEE. Can't wait to use it in a project. Too funny that we both picked out the napkins/place mats. Thank you for a wonderful swap.

Hey Sisters, Forgive my absence and lack of communication. July and August threw me some life struggles. My dear sweet friend who was battling pancreatic cancer won her battle last week and is now sitting at the feet of Jesus. Later in the week my uncle passed away. I have made a couple of 10 hour (one way) driving trips by myself to Missouri to see my sweet friend and then for her service in Missouri and then her memorial service here in Texas. Then my sweet daughter-in-law who is expecting our 2nd grandchild was hospitalized, diagnosed with ICP, and having major health issues with her liver, pancreas, and gall bladder. One very sick girl but thankfully our granddaughter is doing fine. She will have to be delivered early at 37 wks or earlier (at 33 now). Hoping she goes to 37 weeks. My dil's symptoms have improved some what. We are still waiting on testing to determine whether my dil will have to have surgery prior to the birth of our precious granddaughter, Mattie. Her mother and I are taking turns with our grandson. I was able to be home today and get some much needed rest and sleep. Feel like I am still dragging. Still haven't had a chance to unpack. Please bear with me as I regroup. I have missed jumping in on these swaps. This was a fun one!

On Debbie, I'm sorry to hear about your friend and uncle.
And your DIL...is she at home on bed rest of in the hospital?
I had wondered about you. Get some rest and some naps. I used to take a nap with the girls after lunch. God bless you!

Hey Marilyn, She is still in the hospital in Houston. Just spoke with my son. She is able after a week to have some 'food' tonight. They still don't know the results of the latest testing but hopefully will know something tomorrow. Baby Mattie is still kicking away. The docs are more concerned about my dil at this point with all that is going on with her organs.

Betty, a tuck is a little something extra. Like a tea bag of a candy or just something small and inexpensive.

Betty, a tuck is just a little something added to the swap, like a tea bag, buttons, etc. Just for fun!

That is so true! Do you have a lot of snow?
How is your mom doing?
We have had a lot of grey, gray days this winter, when the skies look heavy with moisture, but no snow, just rain. And that is ok. Soon it will be spring. I have just put 80 strawberry roots in cups of potting soil. This is my newest adventure. I've never grown strawberries before. Hopefully by planting time they will have lots of nice green leaves.
