SO sorry that I didn't post the winner yesterday but time got away from me as I was out to a mother/daughter luncheon.
Anyway, the winner picked from the hat by my farm boy is....... Michele "windypines"!! Congratulations Michele!!

I would like to do a giveaway of a subscription to MaryJanesFarm magazine.
With Mother's day coming up I thought it would be fun to post a little memorable tidbit about our mother's or something about your own mothering days. Whether you have grown children or little ones.

I wanted to post something about my mom--I don't have children of my own. My father died when I was five years old and my mother was left to raise us on a small social security check. She gardened and canned and we always had good healthy food and a good life. She would work all day long keeping everything nice. She had a beautiful lawn with lots of flowers. My husband was raised in a poor family with eight other brothers and sisters. His mother worked so hard and they are all good honest hard workers. We both had such good moms. His mother is ninety years old now and we will visit her this Mother's Day. She lives by herself and still does all her own housework.

Please add my name to the drawing. I love the magazine. My husband and I have nine children, but they are all adults now. In fact, we now have 16 grandchildren. So, I truly love it when I can get some quiet time and curl up with a good magazine. :-)

I already subscribe,,, so don't put my name in the hat... howevery..
One of many memories of my mom,,,
I had disobeyed my dad,,, and was punished and sent to my room with out supper... my mother crept in later (while dad was occupied) and brought me a couple of cookies and tucked me into bed.
