Hi dear sisters. My life has been a whirlwind since Jenni has been born... Hospital stays and health issues galore. We thought things were finally getting better and then tonight life slammed us from a different angle... My father-in-law died tonight. He had his yearly stress test, came home for a nap, and didn't wake up. The devastation is unbearable. He was only 61! He never got to meet Jenni. Please pray for us... it doesn't look like the kids and I are going to be able to go to MD where they live... We are hoping we can work it out to where my husband can fly in. Thank you all <3

Shannon, I am so sorry for the sudden loss of your father-in-law. I am sure that he cherished all your children, even little Jenni. Even though you may not be able to attend the funeral, you may want to have amemorial time at your home.

I am CRYING Shannon!!!!!! Darn! I knew you had been socked over and over with health issues and how I have been lifting you in prayer!!! I am SO so incredibly sorry to hear he passed! Shannon you have the faith of job my dear! All I can say is I am heart broken at your loss as well as your constant battles with health issues. I wish I were there to help. God is so good and is there with you giving you that amazing faith to make it through these hardships. He must have something pretty special for you. Please know this, He is with you always has been and always will be. You KNOW where these battles are coming from. Continue in strength and faith please? Let me know what I can do from down South. Thank you dear sisters! Your prayers and love have been felt! We all ended up being able to go for the viewing and funeral for my father-in-love. Once we got home we started playing the catch up game and getting things in order here on the homestead, and then this past Friday tornadoes hit our area. God blessed us with our property being untouched, but others were not so fortunate. I'm ready to get out of this long life valley I seem to be stuck in, but know that God will see us through it! Pe0ple---I want to tell you how much I believe in the power of prayer, I was in constant pain in my stomach---bloating and constantly having to go to the nearest restroom. I have jury duty and a trip to Tennesee and I dreaded it so bad---thought I could not do it because of my pain. So I prayed to God to tell me what was wrong and within two hours it came to me---MILK! nO MILK AND I AM FREE. yES--PRAYER WORKS!

Barbara - yes the power of prayer is amazing! It is a wonderful reminder of how great our God in Heaven is! I too have the same issue with dairy :( Thankfully goat milk does not have the same repercussions for me!
