2018 MARCH - BOOKMARK & BUTTONS SWAP
Hello fellow sister Bookworms! The first swap was such fun so here we go again!!
Think April Showers Bring May Flowers!! Our theme is Showers and Color is Blue!
Reading Who doesn’t love a good book! You can never have enough bookmarkers!
Buttons Who doesn’t love buttons! Our collections can always include a few more!
Bookmarker are a great way to use up those leftover fabric scraps! Pinterest has tons of ideas! Just look up "fabric bookmark".
I love swaps and this is an easy fun one to participate in! Hope you will join in the fun!
GUIDELINES:
1. Bookmark must be sturdy and handmade from fabric. Monthly theme and color posted below. You may either use fabric with the theme OR color.
2. Bookmark must be flat and measure at least 2”x6”
3. Bookmark must have at least a 2” ribbon topper or two
4. Bookmark may contain embroidery, cross stitching, creative sewing, etc. Trim is okay too!
5. Include two pretty buttons which follow the monthly theme for participants to add to their button collection. These are not attached to the bookmark.
6. A pretty note would be nice too! You might write about a book you are reading or recommend a good book!
7. Please, no other tucks. Let's keep this simple!
8. Remember to post your pictures to encourage others to join in!

Feb - Spring / Green
Mar - Showers / Blue (think 'April Showers...Bring May Flowers')
Apr - Flowers / Purple (think Butterflies, Bees...)
May - Watermelon / Red
Jun - Patriotic / White
Jul - Beach / Turquoise
Aug - Back to School / Yellow
Sep - Pumpkins / Orange
Oct - Fall / Brown
Nov - Christmas / Gold

Monthly Signups. Details will be posted each month. Second Friday SignUp Deadline; Partners posted next day, last day of month Mailout.

Oh no problem Christy. I was trying to get all my ducks in a row by the end of this week. I have to concentrate on graduation for the next two months. I have a lot of scrapbooking and such to do for my youngest sons graduation. Then my nest will be empty and I will have more time on my hands. I have been a stay at home homeschooling Mom for years so this will be quiet an adjustment for me! Thankfully I have a 10 month old Grandson who lives around the corner from me that I get to see often!
I already have my bookmarks in various stages of completion for the next several months so I will still be doing this swap!

I received a beautiful embroidered bookmark from Christy today along with a blue button! Look at that lovely card! Smile! Just what I did when I opened the envelope! Love Farmgirl mail! It is the best! It had some trouble getting here but it arrived!
