Thanx Debbie,,, I decided to fly back to Calif,, and have hubby stay home with our pup & elderly kat,, and take care of the homestead.
SO he will be the 'hostess'..lol He will sort and return the Valentine aprons.
He's a my right wing...lol!
I fly out Saturday morning and will stay for how ever long I need to.

Thanx BB,,,
I am trying to get things set up for my DH,,, so he won't have to deal with the 'little stuff'...
Pantry full,, bills pay'd, etc..
Taking care of stuff and then pack my carry on.. thank goodness I have a closet at my mom's where I have/leave clothing and toiletry, so I don't have to lug stuff back and forth..
Mom is still in the hospital, rehab ward.. I am gratful my sister lives close so she can be with mom until I get back there..
We continue to wrap mom in prayers...
Sorry,, I didn't mean to babel... but thank you all for letting me do so.

Hi ladies...
my head has been in over load with phone calls and dealing with my mother's insurance, hospital staff and out of country relatives... so please forgive me if I get confusing when I post... I think I may have replied to several of you by the wrong names... I normally am not so scattered brained ..
I fly back to California tomorrow... but will have my computer with me to keep in touch.
Hugs to you all and I can hardly wait to see all your cute minis.

hi Deb,, I just sent it to you.. :)
I am finishing up last minute paper work on the computer,,, and just printed up my flight ticket.. gotta love technology.. I can shop on line for flights,, pay on line, print up my ticket/boarding pass and then kick back and wait till my flight leaves..
I stocked up on snax for the flight, a magazine to read, cash, and also finished packing my carry on bag... thank goodness I am a minimalist when I travel... lol!
I have a 2 hr lay over in Portland, OR,, so I will probably plug in my kindle and amuse myself on face book and her at the MJF site...

Sweet Grace, I am sending up prayers for your sweet momma and you. I take care of my dad, so I know where you are coming from.
Please try to get some much needed rest when you can. Know that we farmsisters love you dearly, and that we have you tucked in a very special place in our hearts.And a big dhout to your hubby for helping. He is a keeper for sure.

Grace, Sending love and prayers to you and your family during this difficult time. Big thanks to your husband for helping out with the swap.
I planned to sew mine up over the weekend, however, life threw me a few curve ball. Spent all weekend trying to get my business taxes done, due to a software problem it took me much longer then expected. Then when I tried to do some sewing last night my sewing machine started acting up on me. I am going to do my best to get them sewn tonight and tomorrow, and I will get them out quick as possible. If I cannot get them done, rather then make everyone wait, I will just have to bow of this swap. Fingers and toes crossed that my machine behaves tonight.

Life often gets in our way and it's all good.
Even if you are a day or 2 late,, as long as they arrive by the 4th of Feb.,,, my hubby can get them sorted and mailed out on the 6th .
Here I sit at the Starbucks in Palm Spring, 80 lovely degrees and a lovely vanilla café frappe...
