As some of you know,,, we sold our home near Yosemite, CA.. and moved back to the Spokane WA area...
We bought an older (35y/o) house in much need of 'fixin up'...
Well the new counters are in, 2 bedrooms are carpeted, new appliances are in,,, and now the floor guys are here laying down the new flooring through out the house (with the exception of the 2 newly carpeted bedrooms)...
Every wall has been painted, sinks & faucets replaced,,, well you get the idea...
So we are still living out of boxes,,, and house cleaning is a futile battle... lol!
Come summer we will have new windows installed....
Thank goodness the previous owner had the roof replaced 2 years ago and a new heat pump/& A.C. installed 1 year ago...
So once the dust settles... I can finally unpack and settle in...
So,,, in the mean time,, as I try to stay out of the guys way... I will drink coffee and troll the internet... heeheehee!

Wow Grace, it sounds like you hit the ground running. Please post pictures of your progress, as I love to live through other people adventures and learn so when it is my time (two and half years) I have have wonderful ideas to copy.

I am happy to be back...
I am hoping to host a get-together of MJF gals in the late summer.. for those who want an excuse to drive over to Spokane... lol!

Hubby is stuck in the front half of the house... and I am stuck in the back half as the guys start the hallway...
the floor dudes went outside for a minute so I snuck to take a photo...
a tad bit washed out photo.. but you get the idea..

Beautiful new floors, Grace! It all sounds very exciting but I understand how nice it will be to get things settled so you can move on to just enjoying the new home! Hang in there, it looks like such a lovely new home in the making! Trolling the internet can be fun too.....!!LOL!!!

but,,, I need to add,,, we love putting our personality into the house... and not living with someone else's paint colors, flooring etc...
Just as I know,,, the next owner of this house (if & when we sell) will put their personality into it...
