So I think the first projects I am going to start with are:
a pillow for two of my nephews (so 2 pillows - one for each)
pillows for my Dad
apron for my mom
blanket for Jenni

Hay there. I have been MIA for quite a while but need my Farmgirls to make me feel complete. I am working on a 12 month challenge and maybe......maybe I can get them all done. Thanks for doing this year after year.

Love how many are joining in! This will be such a fun and inspirational group this year! I started my UFO list and have 29 things to complete and I haven't even made it through everything yet. Yikes! So I decided to start working on some of my wood blocks and start painting them. As of right now I'm painting blocks from 4 different sets in hopes of completing more.

I am putting off working on my crafts for some reason... Perhaps Christmas zapped me of my energy!?!? I did, however, reorganize my kitchen :) I'm quite happy with how it turned out... I got rid of quite a bit, though I still want to put contact paper on all the shelves and in the drawers. Can someone explain to me how in the world lids disappear??? I understand having extra lids, as glass dishes get broken, but how in the world do the lids disappear? I'm thinking they are with the missing socks that I cannot seem to find! Please tell me I am not the only one... with missing lids or socks ;)

Shannon, you are too funny and if any of us had the answers to those mysteries of life (for missing socks and lids) we truly would be the heros.

LOL!! I am giggling. . . wondering if my containers disappeared with your lids. . . maybe all our missing socks got together for some "glamping" at the dry cleaners??

Krista,
I was afraid to start a list. . . thought that might put me over the edge. Instead, there is a note inside my checkbook that says:
"Really? You "NEED" that? Check out the UFO's first!
LOL!! It keeps me in check. No new purchases unless I get these UFO's under control first!!

Joanna, that's a great idea! I should make myself one of those notes. Especially since 29 plus is out of control! I can't handle adding more to that! Even though secretly I keep seeing things I want to do. I simply can't cave lol!

LOL!! I have to share. . . I made a purchase online the other day and have been feeling guilty ever since!! Why?? because all those ufo's are sitting here and I'm busy buying. . . again!!

So, yesterday afternoon, I began a list of what I will be selling. Yes, selling. If it's not on my to do list, it is going to be sold.

Now, confession. . . what I purchased was truthfully needed, since it was supplies related to my business. Yet, the UFO's are a big thorn in my side, so I had to make some very tough decisions on what will stay and what will go.

Anyone else feeling like me????

Krista,
Girl, you are cracking me up!! I have a secret "wish list" now. Everything I want to purchase goes onto that list. I'm shocked in just 2 weeks how long that list got!! WOW!! A big reality check right there.

My note in my checkbook helped keep me from purchasing something yesterday. . true confession. . . it's amazing how we try to justify something. I went and looked at my UFO's. . . guess what, I already had one in the pile!!! So glad I am doing this challenge to finish up those UFO's!!

This is the first step Joanna, admitting there is a problem. Let us know what will be sold and put it in the barter to trade it with a sister who needs something on the list. That will be a UFO finished.

Joanna, I don't dare start a wish list... it will probably be huge! This is why we all have each other. Support to make it through the hard times and challenges of UFOs!

Krista I agree! The list shows me that I "want to much" instead of appreciating what I have. A good visual for myself and sometimes it really helps to write it down. . . maybe if it's on the list several times over the course of a year, it would be worth getting. . . of course AFTER the UFS's are done! Hahahaha!!

Joanna, I believe I saw on another thread that your crafting space had been rearranged. That is a UFO especially if it has been in disarray for a while and has been wanting to be done. It looks really good.

Joanna, I agree with Marie! Make sure you count your craft room as a finished UFO! And I also agree with you. If it's been on the list for quite some time then you might as well invest in it. It's definitely drawn your attention enough to remain on the list so why not!

Thank you for telling me. . . just thought it was time to get that in order, at least the production area is done. Check! Now to organize the next section, where all the real UFO's hide

I just finished a project, whoopee! I sewed on the buttons last night before going to bed. I noticed that one button needs to be moved as I sewed it to the wrong place, so technically, it's not done till later this morning. Posted a photo on my knitting blog just before I finished it.

You can add me to the list - my UFO list is so long that almost any project I finish is a UFO. LOL!
