Jana, I agree with Marie and Grace. All of those suggestions would be great places to donate. Some church groups make quilts, also. I'm wondering about local 4H clubs needing fabric for sewing clubs maybe?

Welcome Denise, Tiana and Sabrina. Remember to post before and after pictures if cleaning/tossing is happening and the finished project of a completed UFO. Also, tell the sad story of how old this UFO is and why it was abandoned. It may be interesting from an archeological perspective.

I'm in for finishing my UFOs! I started to work on my UFO badge late in 2017, which in of itself became a UFO....lol! I did finish 12 pairs of underwear. I made them out of stretch lace I bought for that purpose almost two years ago. I finished in time to give 6 pair to my daughter as a Christmas gift. The rest of my UFOs are on the bed in the spare room. Would love to get the rest finished up!

Finally finished the baby blanket for the baby who is nearly 1!! I have made this same blanket pattern in a different color for each of my children. Before I've always finished before they were born but since we moved near the end of my pregnancy with this one it got put on hold then he didn't let me work on it much!! Anyway, it is finally finished!

Haha Debbie, I did a lot of work on it in the car when we went to my mom's before Christmas so to be quite honest I only had a part of a row left to complete it that happened IN 2018. So maybe not quite that impressive. Now to start digging in my UFO box for other stuff to finish!

Welcome Marlene! I would suggest lining those projects up and doing a little each day. I usually pick the one that I want to do first or the one that is easiest to finish. This way I get to do something I want and I can receive the satisfaction of getting something done.

Marie, I'm hoping you don't have to move again either. Moving makes it hard to accomplish anything.

Okay, I have finished by first UFO -- the statistical wrap up for 2017.

The three months in which the most projects were finished:
1st - January - 23
2nd - May - 23
3rd - April - 19

The average number finished per month for the year is 11.
The medium number finished per month for the year is 3.
Every month had at least one finish with most of them occurring in the first 6 months.
A total of 22 participants finished at least one UFO. That is 75%.
Good job everyone.

Ok I can’t let my daughter (Sabrina) get too far ahead of me. Here is my first UFO for 2018.

I guess this could be a UFO for 2018. I have a few aprons already. I took a baking class last year, (pretzel baking, yum). I forgot to bring an apron and bought one at class. It was plain black and served its purpose but needed some nancifying.

I added the hand made tatting and store bought appluque butterflies. The purple is much darker than what the pictures show. I finished this project Friday.
