It has truly been a eye opener for hubby and I..
As some of you know, we sold our home in California and have moved back to the Spokane area of Washington.
We are living in a ginormous 5-th wheel...(2 bed rooms, 2 bathrm, 3 TV 's and a fireplace)... life is rough...

We also have had some challenges... like having to plan 'laundrymat dates'... now don't get me wrong... not complaining ... I can commander 3 machines and get everything washed in 30min... ditto for drying...
we can also get on line and get caught up on our emails...
but... it truly is an experence.... we have met some of the most delightful people... and seen some of the strangest ones too!
All in all.... I can't complain ... but I truly have a found a true appreciation for having a washer and dryer.... and will cherrish my new machines once we get setteled into our new home...
Hubby however will be glad to not have to fold up his 'unders' in a public place! Snorks giggles!!

Grace, it's nice to change up every once in awhile but holding unmentionables in public isn't one of them.

Grace, have you closed escrow yet and if so when do you move in or are you doing some repairs, painting, etc first before you move in? If you are doing some work on the place, start with the laundry room. Make your life easier by having the laundry room set up and running while you do the rest! Good luck on the new place.

Grace I would cross my toes to if they were long enough. I have long hair and can braid it if that would help. Good luck and I am keeping positive thoughts and prayers that everything goes as planned!

When we bought our first house we had to purchase our first washer and dryer and it was a very exciting time for us. There is something super exciting about having your own washer and dryer and doing your laundry in the comfort of your own home. Fingers crossed you get to use your own soon!

NOthing like a laundromat! When my kids were babies I had to go to laundromat because we didn't have running water. Had to haul water and no washer. . . boy that was a task! Grateful for modern conveniences! I have a dryer and it works great but don't use it much as I usually hang things out to dry. We have CLEAN, FRESH mountain air. There was a time, however, when I swore I'd never hang clothes out again . . but I've gone back to it. Saves on our power bill!
