Marcy, I hope you found the card too. :-) I found a web site that included a lot of tutorials and videos on tatting. I mentioned this in the card. Perhaps you'll find it helpful too with the crochet thread.
Nora, thank you for the Christmas card. I can't believe it is that time of year already. Your card was the first one I received.
Deb, I received your wonderful package today. Fun, fun, fun! My husband just processed several of our chickens recently, so the chicken cookbook is timely. I'm ready to try all sorts of goodies. Of course, I will be wearing the apron when I do. Last month there were a couple of unexpected deaths in our furry family (cats). One turned out to be a freak accident, and the other was due to a vet error. It sort of threw me for a loop. However, I am getting back to a new "normal". Today was rather busy, so I'm looking forward to sitting down with a hot cup of tea. It is to be getting cold here starting tomorrow. I'm definitely a beginner knitter. I've truly only made a couple of scarves, and I can't for the life of me figure out how to purl. Do you (or anyone) have any web sites or other online tutorials? I'm ready to put the knitting needles to work.

Kelly, thank you so much for the seeds (5 packets). I've never tried most of them. The German Orange Strawberry tomato sounds delicious. The only yellow tomatoes I've tried are Jaune Flamme. I've never had success with cauliflower, so perhaps a new variety is the answer. I tried them again this summer. Lovely big plants, but not a one, formed a head! I looked it up and perhaps purple will be the charm. I'll be looking forward to spring to get these underway. Thank you so much for such a thoughtful gift.

Jill your welcome. Sure hope cauliflower works for you. It sprouts over a long period of time. Mine was not great because I don't have cold long enough to keep it happy. Yours should do terrific.

Deb, thank you so much for the lovely package that arrived today.
I started browsing through the magazine while I drank my Constant Comment tea this afternoon. I really like that tea, our local store used to carry it, and then stopped unfortunately and I haven't found it again yet. The recipe book looks really good, with all kinds of interesting ideas as well as recipes. I love the knitting needles. I won't lose those. The hand knit scrubbie will come in very handy too. I will enjoy the whole package and the Christmas card, so thoughtful. :)

Debbie, Thank you very much for the nice package you sent. Besides horses (and Arabians as one of my favorites), I also love photography and old books, so I will really enjoy the book you sent. I did not realize Arabians figured so prominently in Western culture, that's really interesting.

Your letter touched me and was so very heartfelt, thank you for sharing your story with me.
I know we will be great friends and I thank Joanna for bringing us together into each other lives. You are right things happen for a reason and we are meant to be in each other’s lives!

I received a wonderful Christmas card from Cyndie as well. Thank you so much! I added it to my "Christmas tree" which is growing on my door. Each year we tape each of the cards received into the shape of a tree. The more cards received, the fuller it gets.
