We had 222 attendees (not counting 36 guild members) the first day and not sure. but a lot the second day.

I received Melinda's squares yesterday. Love the different fabrics. I am thinking of combining them with the polka dots in a quilt. Hmmmmm.

I'm heading back to CA today. I should have a pile of mail waiting for me. I'll post tonight and let you know which squares I have received. I'll get my squares mailed out in the next couple of days. Had a great time in WA playing farm girl. Going out and collecting the eggs each day was such fun! Retirement is really looking more and more attractive so I can move up the WA farmhouse full time. But for now...ho hum....:)

Marilyn, I should teach two more years after this one, but I am now looking at retiring next December. My husband has some disabilities related to a service injury when he was in the Navy and I really think I need to be in WA with him. He wants me to retire now, but I have a house in CA to sell and too many other things to get done. So for now I will be up there during my breaks during the school year and the long summer. I am really looking forward to embracing the farm girl life full time! The chickens are an adventure for us first timers. We want to have a garden and fruit trees. We have 23 acres in WA so plenty of room to do just about anything. My husband bought me a really nice spinning wheel and a hand quilting frame. I want to learn how to do all those things. Retirement is looking VERY attractive! :)

That's up to you, Katie. We did a Christmas fabric swap last year, however, everyone loves Christmas fabric. I have my last year's Christmas fabrics quilt top, but it has not been quilted yet. I should get that done, but I already have more Christmas quilts than I have beds. LOL!
Go for it! As I said, you can copy and paste my fabric post and change the info that needs changing (theme, dates, sign ups, etc) and that makes that part easy. LOL! Or just post what you want to make it your own.
