I know we are all gaga over those August cards......However it is time to toss your hat in the ring or your name in the pot or what ever so you will be part of Portia's September Apple card swap.
Did you get it? The theme is apples. Apples red, green, yellow, yummmmmy crunchy colorful apples.

Thanks Marlene, glad you got the list and have an apple tree. Our tree gave up the ghost...but I remember the last bumper crop about 20 years ago. Ty Murray the bull rider was here roping with our son and my husband gave him a bag of apples. I also remember that Julie's little rat terrier loved to eat them too. Yummy, crunchy apples. My husband tried planting over and over again, yellow apples so our red tree would produce. It just did not work.

Feeling blessed today. I knew I wanted to paint apple trees for my cards but wasn't sure how to make the apples look pretty. And I found this roll of cute apple stickers for my trees. Oh yes.
Now to get to work.

I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday looking for apple stuff (thought it would be easy this time of year with kids going back to school). I couldn't find much of anything. No stickers, no stamps...still hunting! The great apple hunt
