Hi,
My husband and I just beginning our adventure into raising chickens. We have 8 chickens we raised from chicks. We bought a store made chicken coop, but we are realizing that the coop is way too small for 8 chickens. My husband found a ready made coop for ($850) and wants to run out and buy it. Yikes! I just know that we could build one for a lot cheaper. I would have to be the primary builder, as my husband is a disabled veteran and has little use of his left hand. As a budding farm girl, I would like to think I can do this! I would really appreciate any guidance. It doesn't have to be fancy. Just functional and comfortable for the girls. Oh, and simple for a novice. :)

Thank you! :)
