I am either seeking to find a Farmgirl chapter here on the Kitsap peninsula (or near here) or to start one if there is interest. I was a member of one before we moved (I miss you, Back Door Farm Girls!) and I desperately want to be involved like that again.
I live in Port Orchard and am open to anything from Gig Harbor on up to the north part of the peninsula.
Anyone out there? I contacted chapters in the past and were told that they were either closed or I didn't get a response.

I hope to be in the area in about 3 years, after retirement, but a little more north (Whidbey Island). In the means time I hope you get this group up off the ground!
On a different subject...what do you think of Gig Harbor? My daughter just applied for a job up there.

Jana, I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE Gig Harbor!!! It's the most scenic, little picturesque town. And the neighborhoods around it are all beautiful, with homes set back in the trees. I wouldn't mind living there myself! The prices are indicative of the fact that it's on the peninsula but part of Pierce County, so it costs more to live there than if you drive over the county line into Kitsap County. But it's a fabulous place!

Welcome Rachael! Glad you are on the farm, I know someone who lives up their in Bremerton, her name is Amanda, she has two daughters.
Glad your on the farm and I am sure we will meet up again on swaps and other parts of the Farm sometime.
