Today I received my gorgeous package from Christine. Oh how I wish I could post pictures!!! It is a beautifully painted goat!!! Yup - a goat! When Christine read my blog she found that we were allergic to cow milk, and that instead we drink goat milk (in fact a little over a week ago we got our herd... of ten... goats!!!). So she blessed us with a beautiful painting of a goat in the cutest cow bag :) And the recipe sounds delish! She should receive her box Wednesday or Thursday :) Thank you Christine!!!

Jill, I sent your package on the 19th or 20th, but not sure how long it will take to get to you. I hope the new grandbaby is doing well. Cathy

Oh Shannon, I am so glad you like her! I had fun making her and it was a good distraction from my vertigo woes.

I took a photo to share on my FB page so I'll post it here. This shows it a little brighter red but I had to edit it so the flowers would show up better.

Thank You Connie for the wonderful package. I love the towel! Connie also knew of my love of vintage and sent me a vintage milk advertising post card, bumper sticker and the coolest little recipe book from the 50's with many dairy recipes. She also sent me a little bag of toy cows, which are now in my purse to amuse My grandson today and a box of Cow Tails. What a fun swap as always Heather. Thank You for hosting.

And yes Connie I do remember that song, Thanks for reminding me!

Cathy - I got my package in the mail today. Thank you so much. I love all the dairy items. I love the teal cow creamer. How did you know that teal is my favourite colour? I'll add the bag to my collection for groceries. I've had to toss a few lately for wearing out, so that's perfect timing. The recipe sounds delicious. I'll make it next time we have a family dinner. Thanks for the SW Dairy Farmers recipes, I think they all look really good. The list pad will come in handy as I'm a list maker. :) Thank you so much for being my partner. And thank you Heather for organizing this swap.

I had your package all ready to mail today, and then managed to go to town without it. I'll get it in the mail tomorrow, sorry for being so late about getting it ready. Here's a picture of my excuse. My grandson Rex.

This is a picture of me with my 4-H Dairy Heifer a very long time ago.

Shannon, the moos made it in fine shape! What a treat. I went in to pick up my mail today and my dairy farming co-worker helped me open it. You can imagine all the squealing going on, LOL. It is so fun!

Everyone, you can see...

My very first creamer

Big Cow mug

Cow coaster set...too freaking cute! Did you make these?

Udderly Smooth hand cream

Cow spotted fabric and cow buttons. I sent these home with Cheryl as she makes aprons and was so excited to make me one. I can't sew to save my life so I was happy to let her do so. I'll post it when it is done though she said don't be in a rush LOL.

And a quilted something...I feel so stupid but I don't know what it is with the little pockets. Please enlighten me? Love the cow/farm fabrics used. You must sew. Probably better I don't as I can have eyes bigger than my closet :).

Never mind the delicious sounding recipes I am looking forward to trying.

Thanks so much for the thoughtful and fun surprise. It will all be right at home here in the Dairy State :D

Yay! So glad it all arrived safely! I was seriously starting to worry! I did indeed make the coasters and holder. As well as making the mug rug - out of MaryJanes Farm material :)

Shannon, I figured the mug rug was a mug rug but wasn't sure due to the tricky little pockets. I love the fabrics, so cute. As I said earlier it is a good thing I don't sew.

I don't know where the package went, I didn't check the tracking but with everyone on vacation etc. things tend to slow down. It seemed it took awhile for mine to get to you also.

Anyway, we had surprise company yesterday and so I got to show it all off and use the pitcher at dinner, haha.

Thank you, Winnie, for my wonderful box! I just love it. I have a recipe for a Mocha Ice Cream dink, a beautiful dishcloth inspired by the recipe, and a towel with adorable cows on it! The tea and coaster and napkins are sure to all come in handy. Thank you very very much, I love it all!

WOWWEE! Heather - Thank you so much!!

I picked up vacation mail and got my package from you today. Such neat stuff in it. A really cute cow_fabric-heart_shaped potholder, Pancake mix with the cutest cow-shaped pancake pan, Dairy-themed pens and pencils, cow-shaped erasers, 3 yummy-sounding recipes (I can't wait to try them), dairy-themed brochures with good information and 2 double-sided work sheets for kids (my grand twins will love this - I will make a copy for both of them), and a very cute "Cows it going?" card that she made.

Thanks for hosting this swap.

Farmgirl hugs,

I'm so glad everyone is enjoying this swap. I love everything that's getting swapped. Thanks for posting so many pictures. I'm sorry I've been MIA and not posting - we had 2 deaths in the family in the last couple weeks so I've not had much time to be on the computer. I'm planning on hosting some more animal and recipe swaps when things calm down for me so be on the lookout...
