Just wrote a new post. I was looking outside and the street is so quiet, not much going on because of the chilly weather and rain. Good day for a book.

I just love Susan's website and blog. So much going on.
Our 5 days of rain and 40's and 50's just broke today. It was chilly and breezy when I came out of church but the sun is a welcome sight. The sky is soooo blue and the clouds are scattered and 'huge fluffy pillows.'
It's suppose to stay with us for a few days. We shall see!

Nancy Jo,
As always your posts make me smile. We have been having sunny, nice weather . . . until today. At 6:45 AM it started one heck of a thunder/lightning/hail/rain storm that got us all out of bed in a hurry. Silky, my cat, ran around here for a while but then decided she'd had enough and went back to bed. She does that on cloudy, dreary, gray days. Wish I could get by with that.
Enjoy your book!
CJ

I adore all of the Susan Branch books! I own several and I always look out for them at garage sales, flea markets, etc.!

It was through her that I was led to the books by Gladys Taber (she quotes her often) and I love those too! Settling into a comfortable spot with a cup of something delicious and one of her books is a real indulgence!

I have most of Susan's Books. Follow her blog too. And Jamie I have several Gladys Taber Books. I even have a hand written thank you note that she wrote to my Aunt thanking her for a gift my Aunt had sent her. I should post a picture of that my blog sometime.
I wonder what Susan Branch will write about in a new book?

I love Susan Branch Books too, and I love her and have always wanted to meet her. I have her latest book Signed personally to me as my son Kent drove over 2 hours last year to the big city Denver and stood in line over an hour to meet her, sign my book and to tell her I loved her and all she writes. He met Joe too and said he was a really great guy. It was the best birthday gift that he could do for his old mom. I was suppose to go but could not! But, I have all her book's as well as Gladys Tabor I hope to have to opportunity to meet Susan again one day and Nancy Jo.
I believe Nancy Jones and I could have tea, talk for hours and never run out of anything to say!
I have met Eugenia Price a famous southern author who I loved as well. She is no longer with us but I continue to enjoy her books as well.

Thanks for the memories Nancy Jo.

Hugs,
Deb
