Hi all :) As many of you know, I homeschool my children. For my younger ones, we enjoy "Five In A Row." One of the books they recommend is out of print... and to buy costs over $100!!! There is no way I can afford that! But I was wondering if anyone of you might have a copy of this chili's book that you may consider parting with... It is called "Andy and the Circus" by Ellis Credle. Thank you friends <3

Shannon, that is a crazy price for an old book. Was it a children's book club book? If it was a book sold to libraries you might check public schools. Sometimes they cull older books, box and store them.

Have you tried your local public library to see if they can do an interlibrary loan? According to WorldCat, a copy is available at the Mandan Public Library in North Dakota. Your library might charge a minimal fee to get the book for you (assuming the owning library will agree to loan it), but it will be way cheaper than paying extortion prices online.

If you want to add a copy to your personal library, use the YouTube link suggested earlier now and buy the print copy in a couple of months. It's a matter of supply and demand. Lots of homeschoolers are apparently looking for that book right now.

Sad thing is I've been looking for that book for the last 6 or 7 years... I've seen it as high as $300!!! So the price has come done quite a bit, lol. I'll try the interlibrary loan if no one has a copy!

College textbooks are just as bad! Have you looked for used textbooks, I have seen Amazon has many titles in New/Used/Rental.
