Thank you Dianna, Marilyn and Shannon for letting me know my tags arrived ok. I sent mine
early as I'm attending to a family situation and I had made them early too. Dianna, don't be
afraid to take them out of the packages I have often used tags as card embellishments and
also tied them onto gift bags....many uses for them that's why I love tag exchanges.
Thanks for the prayers too.

Thank you Marilyn for your darling bird and butterfly tags. I fluffed up the butterfly wings
and it is so pretty and so is the bird tag.
Thanks also to Dianna for her cute birdhouse and bird tag (with sweet lace roof) and the
unique butterfly in a jar with that creative lid.

Ladies - I mailed my tags out today. I'm sorry I waited until he last day... the bird tag was a little more intensive than I originally thought it would be. When you receive them, if you could please fluff the wings on the butterfly tag... I was going to put notes in but my dear children were helping me package and one of them sealed the envelopes without the note!!! Thanks :)

I love that you let your kids help you Shannon. I got out my new water colors and painted fat blue birds. Not so realistic, but it was fun. I love to paint. It had been a long time since I had used water color. These were cheap but so much better than school water colors.

Okay... butterfly tags just hatched from their cocoons tonight... there is a chance the birdies will hatch out tomorrow. Sorry I'm moving so slow.

Did you have a good camping trip Mary. Where did you camp? We used to go to Possum Kingdom several times a year. My husbands family loved to get together at the state park there.

Hi Marilyn... we go to the  Texas Hill Country in April to the "Cowboy Capital of thevWorld" Bandera, TX.
It's a great little town north west of San Antonio. About 150 travel trailers ( most of them Casitas) descend on a camp bound for fun and frolic ( over 200 people).
We have pot lucks, barbecues, wonderful wild flowers, an occasional long horn in the back pasture, evening jams, crafts on Saturday, and most everything else.
We are close to Kerrville and Frerdicksburg, as well as the Wildseed Farm. My favorite camping trip.

The Hill Country is beautiful in spring time. I have an ex carpool friend who lives near Kerrville. Another family we know lives out of Fredericksburg. Have you also been to the Folk Art festival in that area. Seems it was in May. Then there is Octoberfest in Fredericksburg. I gave my mom and step father a birthday trip one year, before she got sick. Of course I went too. Our birthdays were one day apart.
Many adventures and memories of that beautiful area. Blue bonnets galore. I know you had a wonderful time.
