I found more jeans to re-purpose into BOHO jean purses,, (peek in at re-purposing more jeans purses)... lol!

So Sorry!! I know the feeling....I've been looking for jeans with bling on the back pockets and I found a pair of junior size 6 that I was looking at. Now, let's just say I probably wore a size 6 when I was five years old!! My husband, the sensitive one that he is, said, "Can you fit in them?" Well, if he saw my eyes he probably would have fallen over dead!! Oh, the poor hubby!!! LOL

I am learning.... buying the jeans in the childrens to Juniors size work well and are usuallt half the price of what adult jeans are priced.
And if you get lucky and find a pair of blingy adult jeans, the price goes up even more.
I did manage to get lucky and find a pair of "Grace " brand of jeans, priced at $5.99 and I got 15% senior discount so I was happy. I went into another Thrift and they had the Grace jeans in a display case and priced at $20.00..... for a pair of used jeans! Yikes!... really luvin ' the ones I found!
What's that ol ' saying... "even a blind squirrel finds a nut now an then!"...
lol!

My daughter lives in Memphis/Bartlett Tennessee and they have a wonderful Goodwill there. That is usually my first stop when we get to go there. They have great stuff!! It is always like a scavenger hunt when I get there!!

Beth, I too have a "source"... my mom!
She volunteers a few hours each week at her Church's Thrift store... so I give her a list of things To be on the look out... when she comes across something on my list she calls me....and if it is ehat I want she buys it and then when I go to my mom's for a visit I reimburse her and bring the goodies home... that being said... when I am visiting she and I hit a bunch of other Thtifts as well....
It's good to have a 'partner in crime'!! Lol!

The one we have here is also about 40 minutes away and I can only get there about 3 times a week! When we lived in town I thought about volunteering at the place but found myself involved with Sara's schooling and then we moved away into the country and there is no way to volunteer for much of anything now! ;) When we lived in Germany we used to go around and sort through whatever trash they would throw out such as furniture and household items and clothes. It was awesome because it was REALLY nice stuff! We would recycle just about anything there and even household items we easy to get rid of by just laying them on the curb! Sometimes I find that here when we drive on post.

Oh Dianna, that so brings back memories of growing up on Base...(daddy was career Army). and we had Base Consignment Shops... were you could bring stuff to sell... As you know, we were limited on weight as to what we could ship...
I popped in to a Thrift on Base back in Spokane, Fairchild AFB... the Thrift was so small and prices were silly high! Times sure have changed.

We live in such a small place, ours is only opened on Friday and Saturday! We had another one again about thirty miles away and it closed! But, it is the thrill of the hunt. I am always amazed that most times I find just what I was looking for! Yall have a great Sunday! Smiles
