Hi All!
Beth Jones had a wonderful heart ATC swap last month and it was so much fun! Lately I have seen some gorgeous Easter Egg shaped ATC's on Pinterest and would LOVE to do a swap for Easter!

You will make an egg shaped ATC (Artist Trading Card) no larger than 4 inches wide or long. You may use scrapbook paper, fabric cardstock, old Easter cards, anything like that for the background, Then, decorate to your hearts' content. Artist trading cards are usually 2 1/2" wide and 3 1/2" long and are usually painted but a trend to use buttons, paper cuttings, embellishments of all kinds has opened the ATC's up to a wider medium. Google ATC's or check Pinterest for examples and suggestions.

Please use a cardboard, such as a cereal box cut in the shape of a Egg to start your atc. Then cover the back and the front with pretty paper as suggested above. Only one side needs to be embellished and your name and state will need to be on the back of each Egg. Add a hanger of ribbon or fiber so they can be hung.

*******At the time you sign up, please go ahead and send me your address.***** At the end of the swap you will be sent a list of each farmgirl's address. You will mail out one card to each sister. With the added hangers you may hang them on a branch or around your home!

Sign-up's end March 17th with mail out's no later than April 1st...giving you plenty of time to do your best!

HI EVERYONE! SORRY I HAVE BEEN BUSY IN THE GARDEN. SENDING OUT ADDRESSES ON SUNDAY IN AN EMAIL, OK? SHOULD ANYONE ELSE WANT TO JOIN PLEASE DO AND EMAIL YOUR ADDRESS. HOPE YOU ARE HAVING FUN MAKING THESE ATC'S!

Looking forward to seeing all the gorgeous different ATC 's depicting Easter! Have a blessed beautiful Easter holiday!

Here is a pattern for you. On an 8 1/2 by 11 you can get six 3 X 4 Egg 'cards'.

I am enjoying working on my Easter Atc's! I am using Vintage Easter cards from the 1970's! Greeting cards from the 1940's to the 1970's were so well made. The quality of the paper was top of the line, so much detail put into the card outside and inside! Most were made in the USA! Companies like Hallmark, Kansas City, Mo. Norcross, New York city, Gibson and American Greetings in Ohio. Embossing was very popular during those decades. Cards from Germany were also fabulous! I have quite a few vintage Valentines from Germany.

omgosh Connie!!! I feel so lucky to be receiving one of these! You are so right about quality as well as detailed/artsy! I have wanted to paint a few I have saved in the years gone by for I don't know HOW long! I can NOT wait to receive these! I found some wonderful black tea tree limbs and painted them white and placed them in my nice glass vase! READY for these atc's ! Mine are almost done also! :)

Dianna, I share your excitement, unfortunately I don't own the ones pictured, they came from Pinterest, if I did, I would not cut them up! LOL!! The ones I used are really cute, 1970's they are embossed on really thick cardstock. Any ephemera from the 1940's are my favorite decade to collect. I have a lot of 1940's Valentines. Easter cards have not been as easy to find in my experience. I'm excited to display mine too! Especially now that I have a two yr old granddaughter who loves my decorations! and Mail!!

Happy Sunday everyone! I just emailed out the mailing list to everyone! We should be making 7 and mailing 6 Easter ATC's out! I am truly enjoying this particular one! I wish more would have joined but like I just mentioned to Connie, I would be sitting here STILL making them if that was the case. Otherwise, I am ready to mail out by the first week in April! Thanks for joining y'all!
