I guess I am behind. I am experimenting with the western idea. I am not in making to share mode yet...I am in making for the trash can mode...as I try to decide which way to go.

Well, Grace, I am glad I am not alone with a trash can and some not so great mini aprons. If I don't think they are cute, they won't leave here...at least not in the Mail!

I have made 3 prototype aprons for the patriotic swap and have come up with the style... but don't like the fabric I have on hand... no problem I have a coupon and will head down the mountain to JoAnns Fabric and have fun getting my "fabric fix"... not to mention other crafting stuff, (that I probably don't need) ... lol!

I think that is a great idea Grace. Joann's is an awesome place to shop. I thought I was going to the doctor Friday...in the town where Joann's is...but they called and rescheduled me for March 31st. So I must wait a bit longer. Phooey!!!

Swap #2 aprons done and ready to mail out on Friday.
Swap #3 aprons done except for the embellishments....
Swap #4 which hasn't even been started...lol.... welll I have the design and the fabric... just need to sit and sew...heeheehee....
It's fun to be a lil sew-n-sew....

I have been keeping myself entertained with sewing, cuz once Glamping season starts.... I will be hitting the trails!

Mailing mine tomorrow. Have to get my envelopes also. I will also be sitting in the po parking lot stuffing itty bitty aprons in that envelope addressed to Quiltee! Can't wait to get the pretties back! Design for Western decided. Now the fun part starts! Yippee!

Linda, I guess I put my post for you on #1, instead of here. Anyway, I mailed my minis this morning and the tracking # is:
9500 1128 4788 7069 0785 43.
The return envelope has stamps on it $3.43, and that is 14¢ less than what he charged for the envelope to you. The $1 is in the top flap of the return envelope. If you need another $, just let me know. I actually thought less mini aprons would cost a few cents less to mail...but maybe my aprons are heavier this time.

Oh Darlene... I know what you mean.... back in Spokane between the snow and black ice... driving was rather scary! And there is always some dingdong who leaves their brain at home and drives like an idiot!
Stay safe... don't drive if you don't have to.
My gal-pal who lives in Millerstown PA said they had heavy winds and the weather was turning cold again.
Hang in there... good weather is just around the corner.

Grace, they are saying we could get 16" Monday into Tuesday. I really love a good snowstorm. The crazies, not so much! LOL! When I mailed my aprons this morning, someone still left them out! Yikes! How nice that you have a Pa pal.

Here is my tracking # 9114 9014 9645 0124 0142 50. Whew! That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Hi, FarmSisters! I haven't been a part of the mini apron swaps. Its such a cute idea though! I have not been feeling well and have the blues (boo hoo). Just wanted to share what a sweetie FarmGirl Marilyn aka TexasGran is. (Don't we all know it) She made my day with this gift!!! Clothesline, pins and aprons all ready to hang! (Yes, there is my DH in the background).
