LOL! I have had sewing days like yours, Dianna. My aprons are half done. I have the skirts with pockets done, just need to add the waistbands and notes. Can't wait to see all the aprons.

Reading these posts makes me giggle. Linda you are still young!!!
I had a pair of old paper scissors fall apart the other day at school. I was cutting out hearts when half just fell into the trash can. That was a first. You busy bees are busy sewing while I have been trying to get well. I have not started my mini aprons yet...but will start them this weekend.

Thank you Grace,
I will wait by my email box for a new swap ;o)
I grew up in Manhattan. When the Cuban Crisis took place my dh was sent to Ft Riley, a long ways from home, lol. My dad was in the 13th Cav. Mounted Machine Gun troop there also.
As for the Bernina I used to sell and teach for a Bernina, Baby Lock dealer here. I love sewing.

Look what I found - it is a Home Depot mini apron - was used to hold a HD Gift Card. I may use it as pattern for some aprons. LOL! You can see the size because I photoed it on my cutting mat. Here is also a picture of a mini dish/tea towel made by Sara (yellowrose). Isn't it cute? Another idea to hang on our mini apron banner.

I also thought about making a mini clothespin bag for my banner. LOL! I'll let you know if it works.

Will do, Sara. LOL! These aprons are addictive. I can't stop thinking about making them. Both full and half aprons, and work aprons. LOL!

If anyone wants one of the Home Depot mini aprons, this is the closest that can be found.
https://www.bdasites.com/thdgear/Product/1431088-00?cat=THDDRK

Sounds like this is printed on both sides, so could possibly be cut in half to make 2 aprons.

Oh Good Stars!!!!
I luv the HD mini bib apron!!!!
Preferablly w/a gift card in it!!! Lolol!

As for the mini dish towel.... uber cute!

And yes... luv the mini clothes pin holder idea... and fyi: I have found the tiny clothes pins at Michaels craft store.... but I bet if you look in the 'Baby Shower' section you will find the really tiny ones.... most likely in pink or blue but maybe they will have yellow and/or green ones too!

Ok... I just did a quick search...
Hobby Lobby carries the mini clothes pin...
$2.99 for a pack of 50.
They come in a pack of asst.colors or you can get them in a neutril color.
they are called: 1" Spring Clothes Pins.
So I imagaine that is probablly what you will find them at most crafting suppy stores.
You might be able to find them at a "Party Supply" store in the baby shower section as well....

Ok.. I think I might have to head off to my craft room and see if I can come up w/an idea for a mini clothes pin bag...

Dawgone it Linda... I have laundry to do... and see what you have done!?!?! Gotten me off track!!!! Lololol! (Thank-u)....

Thank you for the suggestion but I will wait for the next mini-apron swap. I really liked the idea of using them for a valance trim for my kitchen.

Oh good stars!! it'a all Linda's fault,,, My itty bitty brain went into overdrive on the 'mini clothes pin holder' idea!
So here is what I did,,, I scavenged through my crafting stuff and I found all kinds of goodies from mini cloth pins to a hanger and doillie...'sew' here is what I did...

a metal dolly dress hanger and mini cloth pins ranging in size from 5/8" to 1 1/2" long.
doillie that had a stain in the center works perfect for the bag.

oops!!! I hit send by mistake!

ok,,, decided how wide a piece to cut out for the opening,,, hemmed the opening, draped it through the hanger and stitched down the sides.

and before ya know it... a mini clothes pin holder...

Sew easy peasy....
