I have 4 more finished UFO's for 2017! I had thought that I would finish one more....but I've run out of steam! I think I'm just going to chill out (literally) on this cold, foggy New Year's Eve and call it a day and year! Maybe watch a Hallmark Christmas movie and do a little crocheting....I'll just have it for a 2018 project!
Here is #1...a finished Christmas wallhanging

Project #2...a quilt I started awhile back. I thought it might match my mom's house more than mine but I think I'm going to keep this one!

Project #3....I took this quilt class back when my oldest was a senior in high school...he is now 32 and a father of 3! Yikes! But I found it in my closet and still really liked it. I finished the applique on it and sent it to a longarm quilter who did a knock out job on some feather quilting. I'm SO glad that I got this done...not just to have it finished but I really love it! (Please ignore the light spot in the corner)

And project #4...this started out by doing the blocks of the month in the stitching and crafting room. I decided to make several more and it just kept growing. I was trying to use up all of the fabric that I had in this collection. The size turned out perfect for the bed in our guest room. The longarm quilter did another beautiful job!

And thank you, Michelle! We are enjoying little Merit so much! I have been able to spend several hours this past week holding her while she has been napping. I even got a nap in with her!

Wow, Marie, you've been busy with the math this morning. Congratulations Debbie and Denise! I'm feeling motivated to get on with my big stash of UFOs. I think starting with reorganizing my Fibre Arts and Sewing rooms will be the best place for me to start. Then I won't waste so much time searching for things I need ;)

Debbie -

Love your snowflakes. I have several left that my Mom made over the years and am planning on sewing them on a dark blue sweatshirt to wear in the winter. I love the snowflakes she made and thought that would be a great way to display them.

I love the quilt, Debbie.

Ladies - Sabrina just took over the BOM thread and posted the January blocks. Please take a look and maybe there will be more quilts on the UFO thread this year?

I love your quilts Debbie! At first I thought I liked #2 the best, then I looked at #4 again and thought perhaps that was my favourite. Then looked again and loved both #3 and #1. Basically they're all beautiful! Congratulations on getting them finished!

Wait-I did finish a second project in 2017. I took a weaving class and finished a scarf. I finished this in October.
