Finished the baby bibs and blanket that have been sitting in the box. Ya. It's been awhile.

As we end month four of the year, I would like some honest responses. How many are sticking to their original UFO 2017 list? I started out with great intentions but other unplanned projects and new ventures have taken priority. It is not to say I am not productive, I'm just saying my UFO list has gone out the window.

By the way, I did complete another project for the tally...a memory/scrapbook from 1932-2017 (85 year celebration of photos, history, tidbits, and a collection of stories/memories of my mom (from friends and relatives). By the way my mom is alive and healthy, and celebrated her 85th birthday on April 15 with family (brother, children, grandchildren, nieces and grand niece). When I get my camera back from my daughter in two months (I accidentally left it in her car), I will post some photos.

Jana, I am somewhat sticking to my list. I have been still completing my UFOS, just not as fast as I would like because I am finding that I am adding more side things and completing them first. Life just gets crazy and changes so frequently that I get away from my list more than I should.
Happy birthday to your mom and way to go on getting another project done!

It is not necessary to follow a UFO list to the letter. Mine is totally on the back burner because of my broken arm and our upcoming move. I hope to get back on it in the summer and fall.

I finished quilting and binding 3 table runners over the weekend. I finished a block for the president of our quilt guild.
So it was a productive weekend!

WOW Denise. You did well.

I finally finished one of my UFO dish drainer quilts. I'm hoping to finish the binding on my Route 66 quilt today so I can put it back in the motorhome. We've been using it without the binding for a while. LOL! I really need to put together a few of the BOMs for this year. I started that thread last year and kept up until this year then life seems to have gotten in the way. And I have several sets of 10" squares from swaps to put together - travel, farm, boys, kitchen, and more. I guess I need to get busy to catch up there.

Vacation coming up in mid May, so probably not many UFOs for a while.

I've been working on finishing up some merit badges that have been in progress so I have finished a pair of pillowcases and the embroidery for a set of potholders. I'll have to post pictures soon.

I think it's going to take me through 2018 to finish my UFO list since some of my projects are pretty time consuming. I'm determined to do it though! Life just gets in the way sometimes!

Oh dear, Linda! I better have my current UFOs done before then. I would hate to see them go 10 more years before getting finished!

I finished 2 UFOs. I wanted to send these to our oldest dgd and dggd before leaving for our trip. The towel will match their kitchen. (Italy and grape theme). The g-gd is all about Elsa in Frozen. I found this pattern on Pintrest (my friend) and tweaked it a little. I made it reversible. The only problem I had was when I pricked myself with a pin while sewing the ribbon wastband. Ouch! My pin hole bled all over that pretty ribbon before I noticed. Thank heaven for Tide sticks and extra yellow ribbon. Put all of it into the mail along with a book for little missy..we send her a book about once a month. Love those girls!

I have a few small things I've been meaning to get to, a few bigger things like cleaning up my craft room, which may have to wait a bit as I've taken on a really big project of completing a Master Spinner Program through Olds College in Alberta. I am challenging the Level 1 course and have about 150 hours of "homework" to complete the assignments. That will be keeping my really busy. But I certainly hope to finish some of my smaller UFOs along the way when I need a change of pace. And then it's time to get the garden in, of course. :)

I started a quilt with the Easter 10" squares from a 10"square swap last year, I'm hoping it turns out the way I think it will...I'm hoping to get the blocks together today, but I'm not going to hold my breath about that. I have to go into work to finish paper work so not really a day off...
The weather here in MN is very rainy the last couple of days and in the 30's, it was glorious over the weekend in the upper 60's, oh well, spring in MN. :)

Love the runners, Denise! You completed quite a bit.
I hope to work on place mats and runners next. After the trip.
