Oh Jaime... such sweetness....
It takes me several days to decorate and 1/2 a day to pack everything away... how is that possible! Lol!

I love everyone's photos and I agree with Grace...why does it take three times longer to set everything up then it does to take it down and pack it away? Last weekend I was outside setting up Christmas lights and this weekend we will get our tree, set it up and decorate. I am hoping to do some gift wrapping during the week, as not to leave everything until the night before. Pictures are coming soon!

Here is a Santa village made up from my Mom's cotton batting Santas. bottle brush trees in green, white and red, and my Grandmother's celluloid reindeer. I just love having these family oldies to enjoy year after year! They used to sell these sorts of decorations in places like Woolworth's and other 5 and dime stores for pennies back in the 1910s-1930s when my Mom was growing up in Indiana.

I love everyone's decorating. Such beauty in everyones homes.

Nora....I want one of those ceramic trees in the worst way. Yours is beautiful!

Heres a pic of a tree that holds my farmgirl tags. My girls and I made it when they were younger out of a used tomato cage.

I guess this is going to become the seasonal decorated shelf. I am a little late posting this, but leave up decorations until the second week in Jan. I love doing this type of thing with repurposed, thrift store finds, etc. Dollar Store was a big contributor this year. I think all the birds came from there.

Lenora, I made about 7 of those Ceramic Trees in the 1970's! and I don't have one! Every time I finished one, I sold it ,then I started painting for the shop I took lessons from, So I never got one! I made all sizes! Brings back sweet memories for me! Love all your Pictures!

I'm late sharing also. The little tree in the dining room is my favorite. I've used that same tree for about 25 years now. I put all my little vintage ornaments on it. Including the wax ornaments I received in my stocking as a child. I love Christmas. The large tree is my first artificial tree in the living room. We found a lovely flocked tree with pinecones. It's lovely.
