Each month a new block (or more) will be posted and a new thread will begin for each new month. I hope many of you will join in and we will have a lot of new quilts in 12 months or less.
You can join in at any time. We'd love to have you!
This month there are 2 blocks; as always, you can do one or none of them. Your choice. These blocks will be yours, so choose your fabrics and quilt away.

This month I chose our block(s) for November. Both blocks have been around for a long time.
Remember to always use scant 1/4" seams when making quilt blocks.
The first block is called Box Kite.

Your blocks should measure 12-1/2" square when finished, before they are sewn into a quilt/project.
As always, have fun with these blocks and please post your blocks so we can all see what fabrics you are using. It is amazing that a different fabric choice or placement of light-dark fabrics can often really change the look of the blocks.

My October blocks are still not done, but my blocks for November are finished. I will post pics as soon as my camera battery is charged.

Here are my November blocks. I'm going to try and finish my October blocks toay. These were made using MJF fabrics.

I'm late, I'm late, for a very important date. So sorry, farmgirls. I know we are all busy decorating this month, and craziness has gotten nthe best of me. I will post two blocks very soon.

How many months have we been doing this? I have 9 blocks done, so, I must have done extra ones, but how many more months will we be doing this? Just wondering?

I will start this up again this week. We have been doing this for 7 months so far, so you could have 7 blocks or 14 blocks. And you can stop whenever you want. I'm so happy that people are having fun making the blocks.

I was just wondering cause I thought I needed a few more to finish it , and I just saw the post about taking December off. I was just confused but I am glad it is continuing!!

There were more than 7 patterns given that you could make if you wanted to. I will try to post two patterns tomorrow.
